Robert Kubica has suffered "serious injuries"

many people had a go on Algesuari because of what he said was lie.

He doesn't have any recent news about Kubica.

Manager (Kubica's) and his close friends say completely different things. That his hand is in good condition.

Not sure if you all have seen news on Thursday, but he was caught driving Skoda WRC :)

im sorry but his manager n friends are going to say that, so they dont give up on him in F1
i would say take everything they say with a pinch of salt

Pics are here.

Only the last picture shows his right hand (just).

the fact that he`s hiding it isnt good news to be honest
if it was mending well etc he would have pic`s of that all over the place showing that
but we dont

He's defo hiding that right hand in all but the last picture.

I think the fact that he hasn't shown us that he can use it says it all

This is the problem. Everything is titling those pictures as 'Kubica driving a rally car', when in reality they are noting more than 'Kubica stood next to a rally car'.

The fact they are going to so much effort to try and give the impression all is well makes me think things are very much not well.

He could just be embarrassed of how it looks, rather than because it doesn't work. Like how people with no eyes wear super dark sunglasses.

I think they wear them more for everyone elses benefit in reality.

Although you may be correct

He could just wear a glove

I very much doubt he will ever be back in a competitive F1 car as a main driver. Which would be a real shame but Motorsport is dangerous by it's very nature, and these things can happen.

Wish him the best of luck in the future and hope I'm wrong.

Apparently these are the pics, old helmet but from polish website.

Yesterday at 16:00 MyKart was present at a most welcome and prestigious guest, Formula 1 driver "Robert Kubica". It 'was brought to Montecatini by some of his friends and was delighted to be both the structure of the track. was the first time, among other things, running and felt after the incident that hit last month .. He immediately touched the track record.

Had a look at the news article (pdf) in the link mentioned above.

google translate...

Surprise celebrities to MyKart Via Foscolo arrived yesterday afternoon, where the Formula One driver, Robert Kubica, Polish adoption and Versilia. Kubica, the protagonist of a scary incident at the Rally of Andora in Liguria February 6, 2011, is still not in peak physical condition. The consequences of breaking his right ankle in a fall in Pietrasanta make it lame. Nothing compared to what they risked an years ago when he underwent surgery for seven hours to save the arm and right hand.. Cap ordinance, smile, the driver Polish occurred at around 16 in the company of two friends who know the Barnsley brothers, owners of historic kart track. Then he started doing what he does rather three laps behind the wheel of a kart. Nothing to do with the speed of Formula One when driving the Renault raced on circuits throughout the world collezionanto successes and placings. Excellent results can pull his name to the Ferrari team. Despite the serious injury of pilot instinct remained intact and in laps, with no competitors, it showed.
"I knew it would come - to say MyKart
-. The two friends led him to making a nice surprise. "After talking with the staff of the kart track and have signed some
autograph, not excluding Kubica has hailed a return to town.

So he did three laps with no competitors. Not very convincing is it.

Also talk of Ferrari.

Yet most F1 drivers say karting is more like driving an F1 than anything else. Though I agree with you, they're not talking about physical effort, but more lines and race craft etc..

It is when you are driving a proper kart, indoor karts don't have anywhere near the same grip levels and speed that outdoor karts do

It's a bit like comparing a road car to a race car
