ROG CROSSHAIR VI HERO

Asus have just announced the Crosshair VI Extreme and I have just bought a CH6, interested to see how well it does with OC'ing.

Just upgraded to it. No change to Corsair LPX 3200 (Hynix single side) , still won't run at 3200 or above. Will end up selling it and swapping for RAM with better compatibility for Ryzen eventually.

I'm still on 2 BIOS revisions back, it's lovely and stable and I've spend so many hours playing around. I've just been spending so much time using it normally lately :)
I'll jump on the next one.
Yeah, had a look and not going to upgrade yet since I'm on 3.8Ghz+ 3200mhz and it doesnt really bring anything to the table as i dont have samsung dies or cold boot issues on 1403

Same here except i'm on 1401. Unless a new bios shows itself as bringing something to the table that will make a difference to my setup for the better, i have no intention of changing just because it's newer than 1401.

Is it really worth the extra over the standard Crosshair VI? Probably not, unless you want the WiFi and 90 degree ATX connector I suppose.

Well my 3600MHz memory was working at 3466 no problem then out of nowhere upon a reboot it refuses to work beyond 3200MHz, I tested it in an Intel 7700K based system and it booted straight away to 3600MHz so it's not broken, I really do hope we get proper memory support otherwise it's members market time for my 1800X and CH6 :p

I'm on the 1403 bios is it worth it putting on the latest one?

I'm running a R1600 @3.8ghz 1.3v my 8 pack 3200mhz ram running great at rated speeds.
