I have the same issue mate. Same RAM as you too. Currently on BIOS 1501.

Doesn't seem to happen all the time though, but I have to go back into the BIOS to re-enable the XMP in order for it to work. More of an annoyance if anything.

Did you manage to fix it in the end?

I have not seen this when testing many of these kits. Strange issue really. I was on 1401 though last I tried.

I moved to this bios yesterday but i'm still getting the boot 3 times before it properly boots issue. Other than that my 3Mark score went up slightly so it may have helped a bit. :)

Training issue?

When i left it on Auto the timings were always miles out and seemingly changed at random. I've now set them to what is on the box: CL14-14-14-34 but it still does it? Unless its training the other settings left to Auto? (There are millions of them that i don't understand so i guess they are best left to auto!? :p)

Its not the end of the world and to be honest it only happens when the machine has been turned on from fully off. Reboots are fine.

Did you get both downloads off the Asus site ?
Don't know if you mean me? If so I just downloaded the "Audio Driver - Add RS2 support for Sonic Studio 3 and Sonic Radar 3.". I'm on a fresh install now as Windows died and I probably installed both on the first install as it had a system tray icon for Realtek before but now it only has a Sonic Studio one but the Realtec thing is in the control panel anyway.

Using the 9920 bios here, seems fairly good.

Not sure I understand the DOCP/XMP profiles though, there are about 6 options in there!

Currently running with The Stilts fast 3200 settings and its all fine, however if I wanted to try DOCP do I just select the "standard one" then set 3333 speed/volts etc?

Depends on ram for results. For mine I just chose docp standard, 3333 divider, set boot and normal ram voltage to 1.41v. Worked fine, completely stable for my needs. 3466 almost stable with those settings.

Now on 3466 have set procodt to 60 and it has made it stable so far. Still testing to be sure.

Results vary depending on ram and cpu's imc capability. Previous corsair lpx ram only stable at 2933 whatever settings I used.

Also on bios 9920.

Yeah, just tried 3466 DOCP couldn't get it stable, dropped down to 3333 and got 150% hci clear. Will leave that running later and see if it passes longer.

Only marginally faster than tuned 3200 tho. :)

Just installed the 1501 bios let's see if it's any good.

That's the one I'm on and I still get issues sometimes trying to boot at 3200 with the 8Pack kit.

I have to go into the BIOS to re-enable the XMP as it defaults to 2133mhz.
