It looks like small park areas with completely flat land boxed in by surrounding landscape features... call me skeptical but it looks like a PC game that's being designed to be easily ported to mobile without losing any features.
The mid to late 90's was where gaming was king for me, RCT, Sim City, AOE, Champ Manager, Syndicate Wars and C & C were just hours upon hours of my life taken away AND I BLOODY LOVED IT!
Games nowadays concentrate too highly on graphics.

Not a single shot of a rollercoaster in that article, also saying they're not going to use block-by-block building anymore for rides... not looking good
Been playing RCT2 a lot recently, over 5k guests in the park right now.
Here's hoping that it is nothing like the mobile game. Any wiff of 'in-app purchases' and I will be turning my nose quite substantially up at this one.
So you are saying there are games about nowadays with staying power and actual play-ability as I find most just plain boring lacking creativity and inventiveness.

excitement level dampened somewhat, was so looking forward to this, but visually it looks worse than the original RCT games. come on Atari, this is over a decade later, mixing in the real life footage of rides aint fooling anyone.
glad you all agree with me, does look horrendous doesn't it. Wish someone else would bring an amazing theme park game to the table, with gorgeous graphics to boot.
