Rome 2 : Total War

faction reveal = Rome.. who woulda guessed

Yeah, there wasn't really much interesting. I like how they have a new "political" aspect to this game, in that your key figures are now going to be very important at home politically, as much as they are abroad fighting etc. Should be interesting to see what they come up with. They sort of introduced it a little in Shogun 2 with all the custom units such as Shinobi's and Geisha's but this sounds better.

Time to save for the new rig then :) this & Arma 3 are going to rock my world next year!
Hope they include some form of assassination units love the little videos of them sneaking in & either making the kill or being killed.

Another pic for you all

lets hope this game uses more than 1 core.

yes it will,

well multi threads as a new engine would be needed for multi core as per most games.

A rare thing these days. What I call a NHG (new hardware game).

The rare occurrence where I would be prepared to shell out a few hundred to get the best experience from a new game. Actually there's 2 coming. This and Sim City 5.

Heh. Completely agree with this! This is the game that is really really exciting me :). Thankfully Company of Heroes 2 is due out earlier in the year so I'll have something to keep me occupied whilst waiting for Rome 2.
