RRS takes out Bikers in NYC!

...and a brake check is also dubious at best, it's not something I recall seeing in any highway code and I am not sure forms part of police approved driving either.

So a police officer taking part in a vigilante attack on a young family should be vindicated in your opinion? What exactly are you smoking?
 
Not sure how to feel about this, having just read above articles and watched the video. It's a sad situation on both sides and even more so that someone has been paralyzed..

Something reminded me of this incident earlier, so I went looking for the outcome as the story vanished from the media after the video.
A total of 15 people were arrested, 55 motorcycles were confiscated, and 69 summonses were issued in connection with the September 29th event. Eleven bikers were convicted in connection with the attack.

Police have stated that they do not plan to file charges against Alexian Lien. In December 2013, Lien filed a civil suit against the city of New York for the involvement of an off-duty police detective in the attack. The suit accused the police department of failing to properly train their officers.

Well she won't be throwing half eaten plums and bottles of water at biker gangs again will she. What did she expect?

I know. She should have done the old fashioned thing of opening her door and knocking the bunch of tools on their arses.

During, when, as usual, a bunch of power rangered crotch rocket tool bag "stunt bikers" started acting like ***** and as if they owned the road. Slowing down traffic. Nearly hitting pedestrians. Damaging other road users vehicles. Then acting like a pack of ****ing animals when someone has enough and throws a plum and water bottle at them. But we'll neglect their previous behaviour and only quote from the minute the "cager" responds with a plum.

They're ****ing scumbags. And the fact there was a load of cops in the middle of them too doesn't surprise me in the slightest.

These are the kind of ballbags that were involved with this story. And there's gangs of them all over the US. One of the most "famous" is the Ruff Ryders, who most people know because they appeared in DMX's early rap videos.

What she should have been doing is minding her own business.. Mouthy trouble making girl no doubt. RR driver needs to keep his missus on a leach ! Don't pick fights that you're going to come off a lot worse on. NONE of this would have happened if she didn't start throwing projectiles out of the car. Of course its going to agitate a situation. Gang mentality kicked in, and well the rest is history.
