Ruddy inconsiderate cat owners...

You are a human, they are cats. They don't know what gardens are or anything like that. They don't ration about where to crap, they're cats.

I couldn't care less how intelligent they are. I am not a veggie and I eat meat. And unless your a veggie too I cannot see how you can afford so much hypocrisy by saying I am out of order for wanting to shoot a few moggies when the majority of this country eat meat.

At least I am wanting to shoot free range cats and not factory farmed cats.

I could get one of those but the neighbours house whose garden backs onto mine has a dog in their back garden. Will it cause that to bark anymore than it already does. I must say that would make me happy if my emitter keeps it housebound :D

My experience of these devices is that the animals just try to get away from the noise, as it's meant to be uncomfortable for them to tolerate.
I guess if the neighbours dog lives outside all of the time, then this could pose a problem though

The law should be changed to allow me to shoot cats that **** in my garden. Or to enable me to put their owners away for a stretch inside the local jails for letting their pet repeatedly crap in my garden.

I don't want to shoot the other wildlife. Just the cats. If anything, I am doing the other wildlife a favour by ridding them of the fowl cats that plague our cities.

Ah well, you can't say I didn't offer an alternative to foaming at the mouth in impotent rage at animals doing what nature requires of them :D

Then don't blame them for doing something they're not even aware of.

What.. the? It's like a pinball your mind. Shooting cats *PING * eating meat.

ah yes things like mice and rats aren't a "plague" they're natural wildlife. I bet you'd start to moan when your garden is teeming with rodents then eh? Someone should tip 20,000 rats through your letterbox and garden.

The domestic moggies is useless at catching rats. Where are you getting the idea that they keep the rat population down!!! There are more feral cats in London then ever before, and yet the rat population is exploding as well.

Do you really think a cat is going to take on a rat which is going to fight back with vigour when it is far easier for it to go begging at a couple of old ladies house or rifle through the bins instead.

Someone should tip 20,000 cat pooh on your lawn and see how you like it.

I really think you should commit yourself. What has eating meat got to do going round shooting people's pets?

Stop posting on a computer forum and sort it out. Its a cat mate, not the end of the world.

I will blame them. It's their crap. Who else should I blame, apart from the owners?

Would you say don't blame the dog for biting that little kids face off?

Why is wrong to want to shoot a cat? Do you know the conditions that factory farmed animals are kept in, or even slaughtered. By buying factory farmed meat your just as culpable in its poor treatment.

Before my cat became ill, he used to kill many mice and birds. Often bringing them to the back door as trophies. The rat population is soaring sure, but that isn't because cats are crap at killing rats, it's because rats mate quicker than cats. Lower cat numbers in London and the rodent population will spike.

Cats will kill mice and rats with relative ease. Adult cats will often play with their prey before finishing it off. They're a capable predator.

Also Foxes rifle through bins more than cats do, by far.

Whats the difference between me shooting a cat and someone else putting a bolt through a pigs skull or slitting its throat?

Oh, the fact that cats are little and fluffy and you happen to own one I guess.

The-void - for the love of God please just crack one off and chill out.

Lots of pent up frustration being displayed here - all things can be resolved by stroking the pipe.

Cat lover

You are a cat lover. Says it all. Your cat has no right to **** in my garden. I should have the right to boot it right out into the street. Its your cat, why don't you come round and collect its crap?

that one is bred for food and the other isn't might have something to do with it ;)

Totally different. You're killing it because of amusement, and because it's pood on your land. A livestock is killed for neither of those reasons, and purely for food, and other uses like leather etc.

Do you eat the cat?
(don't answer, you probably do, and smear it's feces over the walls and yourself, chanting and acting deranged) then run around the street naked.

I don't own a dog, but would never even consider shooting it if it crapped on my lawn.

You're blaming something that has no control over what it does. It's an animal for god's sake. What do you want from them? To put nappies on themselves or something? Get a grip.

Yes.

Why is it wrong to want to punch a baby? Especially if it craps on your living room floor whilst you're changing it. Cats are animals. You must be a twisted individual to inflict direct pain on another living creature.

Farming animals for food is not comparable to a nutter with an air rifle shooting the wildlife that 'dares' to set foot on his property. Whichever way you try to twist it.

Another cat lover eh? BAM, HEAD SHOT!!!

Far from it, I usually resort to a hose to sort out cats.

Was Mrs Void your mother in that post on single mothers? Cause by your attitude you don't seem old enough to have a wife?

Jesus the last time I heard "Bam, Head Shot" was a 13 year old on CS 1.6
