If I was "in charge" I would personally be capping him at historic levels of payout, so if his current situation did see an increase in potential payouts then the extra is chopped off.
Would seem to balance the not profiting with the avoiding demonitising him.

Really more important to me would be what hes saying, rather than what hes potentially going to gain out of it financially.

The chap is self employed. Sometimes you don’t make a profit. He has the freedom of speech he can say whatever he likes.

*This fishing and intimidation exercise is disgraceful. Brand hasn't been criminally charged, or investigated. Yet the government is acting like he's been found guilty.

I could kind of understand it if he was a convicted criminal. I think there is already a law that stops people making money by promoting their previous crimes.

*I noticed in each of the letters they are personalised in their threatening tone. They aren't just asking for information, they pick on a sensitive area of that company and say (paraphrasing) "I hope you get that sorted out".

Looking back, I'm considering that Rumble is rattled because they don't have prepared answers and have knee jerked a poor response.

They mentioned "demanding a ban" which wasn't a thing and the committee has no power to say that. The limit of what they can do is demand information and slap a folder of their findings on the parliament floor and demand that the government look at it.

no doubt he has. and i'm actually happy for you that you were able to forget he existed, wish i could do the same but none of that takes away from the fact that he was already hugely famous.
