Russell Brand.

The text message exchange between the woman who claims he raped her and his response is quite telling imo, of course it needs to be verified as genuine.

I think he is undoubtedly an extremely pushy guy. I suppose the real question is, did she say NO at any point.
Much as though I have every sympathy with a woman that gets his attention, all women must learn the art of saying NO. They almost need training in how to say no with people like Brand.
Men often make the first advance, so women must be capable of telling them to get lost. The crime comes in when she has, and he ignored it. We will see....

I don't know why governments seem to stupidly give credibility to conspiracy theories.

If a man is saying he's being tracked by the establishment then we think he's got issues.

But then an elected government writes officially to the mans employers investigating his financial arrangements in a total overreach.

Either the conspiracy is true, or we've got reddit level gossip mongers as government officials now.

Westminster has been gossip central since our glorious Norman cringelord sat his arse there.

Who did this happen to? Definitely a topic worth its own thread if true.

Nearly half of the Brand story now is about big brother government.

Most of his American fans have bought into it fully, likely because some Americans have a pathological distrust of the British government. So when they see a Parliament representative writing to Brands employers it as given the conspiracy promoted by Brand credibility.

If the government representative didn't act like a social media child feeling they have to react to anything and everything, and waited for due process, it wouldn't have emboldened the Brand theory.

The government as played into the big brother nanny state stereotype. Instead of acting professional and following the law.

Common sense and reason? Although both are generally ignored today.
Yeah, I mean you've only got one of the architects of the osb writing directly to social media companies about people that haven't even been charged with anything let alone found guilty in a court of law, ironically the same people that don't seem to care about mp's who've been accused of the same thing. Strange how their concern seems to 'target' a certain sort of individual doesn't it.

You have had to make assumptions to get that point.

What sort of individual do you mean BTW?

Even with the rape centre evidence and texts there is no chance he gets convicted. There is just too much reasonable doubt. Maybe a civil case could get a liability claim given the lower threshold.
To much is coming out about him now and its not just one person. Dispatches alone has four woman willing to testify.

The claims go way back, he has apparently been using high price legal experts to shut them down with threats of lawsuits on both sides of the pond that would financially ruin them, typical bully boy behavior.

Be silent or lose your house and savings.

It turns out Dispatches has been onto him for years but it took a long time before they could act because of this team of lawyers he has at his fingertips.

Not just dispatches but the BBC had to make sure they too were bullet proof too because they know what he can do.

Time will tell, if he's innocent he will sue like he's threatened to do dozens of times, but my guess on this occasion he knows the threats wont work so will continue to spew his poison to his followers on youtube and social media.

Oh and did anyone catch what sir Billy Connolly said about him? He once caught him constantly asking an aid to show him her ****, kept at her until Billy told him to leave her alone, that one thing alone shows him for what he is.

Unnamed source told The Sun, people take it as fact, it's astounding to me that people just take everything as fact. The only direct quotes are Russell Brand saying Billy Connolly is a hero, so I guess he didn't tell him off too badly
