Rust - multiplayer survival from the creator of Garry's Mod

Sleeping bag is easy enough, 15 cloth.. best to place it hidden near the house in case you get raided. You will respawn there (camp respawn)

Priorities are some cloth armour, a 9mm pistol, bow, hatchet and to build a house far enough from the road/rad town/resource areas that people are not going to find easily, but close enough to not make going to farm such a chore.

happy to give you some stuff to get you going when you are in game.

I waited the late afternoon/evening and nothing came, maybe a restart?

Ill keep my eyes open though :)

edit : 3 days and no air drop. Defo not working.

its a no sleeper server, so they cant kill you when you sleep :) Make sure to have all your best loot with you when you log.

its easier to spot your house than a sleeping bag hidden in the rocks, but you can also use 2 or 3 bags in and around the house.

Ah ok I didn't know different servers had different sleep settings :D

I'm getting the hang of this game now, started building my new base last night but managed to put my door on a dodgy slope and I cant actually get in now lol

Oh well, best start building another one :)
 
Sorry if I've missed it, but is there any chance I can jump on this server? All the UK servers seem to be full constantly - bit gutted because I've been trying to play all day and been stuck with a ping of >500!

Just came back from the GF's this morning to find my house got raided. Im so bummed as i had enough metal to start constructing a metal house, just needed to find a metal wall to research. thats 48 hours i won't get back.
Really annoying as i have an idea who did it and was crafting C4 yesterday to launch an attack on the bandits.
Thinking of switching server now, which server does everyone play on and is it PVP or PVE?
 
Nah, Germany 1 (Dev). It was the first server i jumped into and only realised that items don't carry over to other servers after putting in about 8 hours of work.

Is the OCUK server PVE or PVP?
 
HG is PvP with no sleepers, and generally peaceful with some good teamwork going on.. Do join, there are a few OCUK peeps on there now, and if we hook up we can form an alliance for when/if it starts to get busier and more aggressive.

Good idea, I have plenty of spare blueprints if anyone wants them?

I could also do to research a metal wall if anyone has one please?
 
Not as yet, we are in different locations, but I think if we start getting to know each other better I am sure that can happen.
Loads of room where mine and Six's metal fortress is right now.. but haven't shared the location yet :P
