Rust - multiplayer survival from the creator of Garry's Mod

ive just got the game myself had a few hours last night

how the heck does one find there house after they have been out farming? i lost mine easily.

oh and there needs too be much much more Stone spawns.!!1

but a pretty cool game so far. headphones and dark room are an awsome way too play

OK cheers bud. I went on one server(think it was Dev1) the lag was so bad! Couldn't do a thing. Not a great start. :p

When you going to fly with us again? ;)

You really need to know where you are, when you build, at least locally. It doesn't so much matter on the island level, but in relation to local landmarks, roads, resource areas etc.

I find my good resource place with a road, and then choose a site to build on in the area but out of sight.

There are also loads of rock spawns if you know where to look, almost as many as wood in some places, maybe where you are looking is being over farmed?
 
i have done a huge huge amount of running around
twice i have lost nice houses due too being killed whilst farming wood.

then respawning in completly random places.

1 time i did create a sleeping bag but clicked the respawn option as, yet i still dont know what im doing in the game. altho i now its Respawn at camp = sleeping bag. (i think?)

anyway will keep playing as its quite fun but little frustrating at the mo :)

Ok that would be great. Feel bad after all the stuff Ritchie gave me :( I was trying to be clever. It was dark and trying to kill zombies, had loads after me. Even with a rifle I couldn't manage.
 
Tried to play this afternoon but only getting 115 ping and once I did manage to connect the lag made play impossible...twas fine last night :confused:
 
Really laggy earlier, now failing to connect - server issues methinks!

Would like to say thanks to admin though - usually a great server with really helpful players. Hopefully it's an easy fix!
