Ryzen "2" ?

You must have noticed by now that Never genereration is so... hmm carefull... dunno how to describe it.
They are like dont do taht it will break !!! Well theirs ****** iphone will when they drop it trying to do some stupid challenge selfie.

But in general stuff is hard to break. To them simple task like lets say changing brake pads is rocket science...

When i was 12 i was messing around with jumpers to overclock my 486sx.
Could you see how all them so called OVERCLOCKERS from Youtube have to deal with jumpers on motherboard. Or typing commands to make swap file on hdd.... in dos :D

Humanity is doomed :/ without google

fixed that for you
google was not much help with 8088 or 6502 (or dos 3.1). How times change, but then I don't trash my car and I don't fry my cpu. My 486sx cost me £25 and there was no way I could afford to trash that. I was lucky. I worked in the industry and had good mentors. Kids today have google and jumper less motherboards so yeah, maybe they can just loose it and trash it if they don't understand.

I just got this stuff in my veins. My dad used to run an TV VCR Radio repair self employment buisiness. I used to help my dad in the shop. So when he had propery broken TV set. He was like Here is soldering iron and PCB motherboard from broken tv. Solder out all resistors capacitors transfformers and any usefull parts out of it and stick in in a box.
I was in primary school kids played with ball outside. I had my fun with soldering Iron :D

Thats why I'm so hyped for any new hardware I can get. Its not about Using it I hardly play games anymore. Waht gives me fun is messing around with it spending hours days weeks tweeking settings to see how it behaves get every last bit of juice out of it.
Damn I had loads of fun with C6H and Ryzen in general most since 2500k times :)

Mmmmm, don't know how old you are Zeed but i'm 60, got a feeling your not far behind me ?

And yes, peeps on here now days are far far too risk averse. If you go back and think about the Athlon 1700 days, the cpu had no heatsreader in the first place. If you wanted to clock it, you absolutely had to take the risk to give it some proper cooling.
Most of my time during the early 2000's up until a year ago, i always run all my cpu's under phase 24/7. Yes a risk, but i could run all of them faster than anyone else. Like you i love just working out how to run a cpu, ram and gpu as fast as possible. That's why i clock and to be honest that's why i don't normally take any notice of what most peeps say on here. Because most peeps just copy other peeps.

In my mind, if you can't work it out for yourself , then do as most and use the auto clock. Because it's obvious to me a lot of peeps do use it.

I think they use 2666 max 3000mhz cl16 to not damage Intel .. hahah
I hope Amd releases the new Ryzen Master.
Last does not recognize the 2700x-2700 CPUs

Interesting, I wonder is it just a soldered i7 8700, so it can take the thermals away and cope with the increased clocks?
Problem is that Intel has converted even its high end CPU production lines to use toothpaste under heatspreader.
https://overclock3d.net/news/cpu_ma...x_and_kaby_lake-x_cpus_will_not_be_soldered/1
So Intel would have to set up separately that part of production line, assuming they still have equipment for soldering heatspreaders.

Has to be a catch somewhere.
Likely needs you to buy some software or hardware key to enable compatibility
Like Intel did with their already expensive high end platforms:

@kitfit1 Not that old Just 35. But Iw been in electronics as I mentioned literary from crib. We had ZX spectrum when I was 6 :]
My dad still plays with electronic got some videos on hes Youtube how to fix this or that:
In Polish but basic overview how PSU works sections of it what usualy fries and needs changing ect. Hobbyst style :)

Anyhow NEED MOAR VOLTS ;)

Anyone running this daily ?? :D

Now that's more like it :D

Somehow i don't see any reviewer slinging a pot on and trying it out though.

i'll do a review for you then. i happen to have 10kg of dice coming on the 20th :p its not ln2 but its stilll cold
HAHA. You ever played around with Peltier cooling plates ?? Always wanted to try ne with watercooling.
they are very inefficient, they normally work best on lower power cpu's. i think a water chiller is a much better option. And yes everyone is scared when overclocking these days, but once they start pushing it and they get into it, they really like it and find their stuff isnt going to blow up. I have helped many noobs on linus forum who have really got into it.

No i hav't, as Jumper118 has said, they are very inefficient.
Have had a few single stage phase units over the years though. Current one is this, built it 8 years ago and it's still going strong :D
