It could be, but lets go back to basics. Make shure you have the latest official release bios installed first ? Then make shure you have the ram installed in slots A2 and B2 ?
Assuming the above are ok then do the following.
Into bios and load optimized defaults, save and exit.
Into bios and load DOHCP, save and exit.
Boot back into windows and you should be at 14-14-14 3200 ? Run memtest. Job should be done.
If it's not after now having 2 sets of B-die, there is something wrong with the mobo.
Latest bios? Check.
A2 B2? Check.
Load optimized defaults and then DOCP? Check.
The result equals freezing when I play games after about 20 mins.
It's runs with out a hitch at 3133MHz however. I think it's the limitation of the mobo. I say on a German forum evidence of the prime pro being limited to 3133 where the x470 was faster.
Small chance it's a bios bug?
