It could be, but lets go back to basics. Make shure you have the latest official release bios installed first ? Then make shure you have the ram installed in slots A2 and B2 ?
Assuming the above are ok then do the following.
Into bios and load optimized defaults, save and exit.
Into bios and load DOHCP, save and exit.
Boot back into windows and you should be at 14-14-14 3200 ? Run memtest. Job should be done.
If it's not after now having 2 sets of B-die, there is something wrong with the mobo.

Latest bios? Check.

A2 B2? Check.

Load optimized defaults and then DOCP? Check.

The result equals freezing when I play games after about 20 mins.

It's runs with out a hitch at 3133MHz however. I think it's the limitation of the mobo. I say on a German forum evidence of the prime pro being limited to 3133 where the x470 was faster.

Small chance it's a bios bug?

I can run 3333 14-14-14-14-31 @1.36 Volts I can even run 3466 16-16-16-16-38 @1.4 volts.... Is it even 20% memtest stable ?
No!
Is 3200 14-14-14-31 @1.36 volts stable ? yes, 1000% memtest-pro stable.

The next thing AMD should try to do as mentioned above is get the infinity fabric independent to the ram speed. That way ram up to 4GHz might even work.

The chip it's self could have a dedicated controller setting the speed of the infinity fabric. Maybe even overclockable.

You ideally want to get it as higher frequency as you can, then worry about timings.

On the whole if you can get 3200 C14 you're good; 3333 C14, 3466 C15, 3600 C16 will be faster, but progressively harder to achieve.

Changing VRM's frequency from auto to 400 got me that Edge to pass Y-cruncher first time ever with 3600. Ofc Vddp 0.855 vpp 2.5 pll 1.8 cldo 700

When PBO is set to Auto the CPU itself sets voltage, TDP and other mobo parameters.
When it's set to Enabled, the voltage, TDP and other parameters are set by the mobo's ability to hold the settings. This results in a much higher VID being set for each core and higher TDP than would be the case on Auto. It also means much higher temps.
If you were going just for an all core clock, enabled would be the best choice. If though you want to let the CPU set it's own maximum and minimum with low volts and temps then Auto would be the best choice.

yes but anything over PE2 is hmmm not to stable. On new windows update my PE3 setting will shot down pc on 3d mark stress test !!!

guess uses amd default then and boosts to 4300 ?? but remember you CANT USE any other plan than Balanced not even ryzen balanced just windows default plan or it wont boost cores.

Hmm not in my case but i use process lasso so thats different core management than crappy windows one

I actually observe higher speeds using the Ryzen power plan.

The all core boost is generally the same. Actually a little more for the Ryzen plan by about 0.01GHz -0.02GHz.

But if I open up a browser and browse, I am seeing 4.15GHz which the other profiles don't reach.

No need to use it now, all the optimisations have been bundled into the Balanced profile so you can use that instead. No need to alter the minimum CPU usage either, you can leave it at 5%.
