Ryzen "2" ?

Ok, bit of messing around and managed to get some decent boosts on the 2600x
This was using the Prime Pro and it's strange Precision Boost x8.
Also tried an offset of 0.05, although I have no idea if the offset is doing anything. That will be my next port of call. Don't like those 1.4+ voltages

What memory speed and timings. 170 is quite low no?

Yeah that's another thing I can't get my head around. 3200 at CAS 14, 1.35volts
I see other single bench scores way higher. Such a strange beast the Ryzen
Adjusted my offset to 0.1 and now have a 171 single score, but the boosts are lower. Gah!!!

For reference....

It's not massively out but it's low. I'd expect more like 175-180.

Pc's been fine for weeks now at 3133MHz on the ram. Single player games run perfectly.

Fire up BF1 and not only is it a stuttery mess (as usual) but I get a crash to desktop.

Hard to tell if ram or game. I did then manage to play for a few rounds with no issues...

Cheers. Off to work in a mo, so it'll have to wait til tomorrow.
It's been fine for the last few days, albeit taking a couple of stabs to boot sometimes, it's been fine once it got there. It's survived gaming and benching, then bums out opening a web page...

What a PITA.

Did a longer mem test using the DOCP 3200 setting on the CH7, got 1 error at around 735%. This is the 8Pack 2x 8GB 3200mhz Memory and its rated to run at this setting?
Are memory errors linked with CPU settings? (I have PB enabled and running PE 2, offset -0.05, everything else auto)
Thinking if I should set everything to default and then test memory to confirm that the memory isnt faulty?

You probably lnow more about it than me.

But... I haven't had any luck with the memcalc. And also... the memcalc isn't board or brand specific.

Surely DOCP IS a better shot as it auto calculates the secondary/tertiary values for your board/brand/manufacturer.

Could be, works for some I guess though I found it to be crap, with 8 pack memory and corsair lpx I am running now, neither were stable with docp settings.

Well it gives me something to do tomorrow at least. Shame, as it was zippy as a zippy thing on a particularly zippy day at 3200MHz.

Still blasts my 4770k even at the 'backup' 2133 so not the end of the world. Just annoying!
Will try manual settings next- but admittedly don't know where to start. Never set RAM manually before...

But what version of calculator ??

I use 4 versions. All give DIFFERENT timing options to try out....
1.2.0 Beta 2 is newest maximum fast setting my ddr can do is 3400cl14 with no errors speed whise its on pair with 3533cl15 on cpu side.

Ryzen and Ram is normal users nightmare :D
