Ryzen "2" ?

That's not how it works in the corporate world my friend. You can't just call a governing body and request an official enquiry.
Long story short for now its only a myth and accusation.

In other news
Giga RGB instead of VRM and Msi looks only good delivers lol

You guys have gone WELL off topic

So got my 2700X running better now, have some profiles saved because my Corsair H75 AIO isnt the best solution :)

Hot weather - 4.0Ghz with 1.250v (in BIOS)
Warm'ish weather - 4.1Ghz with 1.275v (in BIOS)
Winter months - 4.25Ghz with 1.400v (in BIOS)

All these are All Core clocks using Mode 3 LLC and RAM is at 15-17-17-35-1T @1.360v

Kinda happy with this until i get a better case that a bigger AIO cooler would actually fit into, no chance with my current case.

LLC makes a huge difference for temps on this chip, temps while streaming top 76c while using Medium preset, Main, 720p60 @6000kbps with max total CPU usage around 50%.

Heres my 4.1Ghz CPU-Z link.. https://valid.x86.fr/wmp15h

How am i doing for a non hardcore overclocker? :p Please lemme know if i can tweak some more, its my first ever AMD CPU setup after all. :)

Cheers guys.

I think I have managed to stabilise my ram at 3333 14-14-14--14-31, been running for a few days now without any issues.
Am thinking of ordering some RAM fans and then trying 3466. I think I heard one of you guys mention it on here. There is not a lot of choice, mostly corsair ones and I think they cost too much! Found a cheap Chinese one on the auction site , thinking about getting this. Its just a fan right? my mobo is not going to blow up by plugging in a cheap Chinese fan right:p?

Still getting the issue with the sd disk not being recognised sometimes by the mobo during boot even after formatting my other hd. I have now disconnected it. If it happens again I will definitely consider contacting ASUS.

And the fun continues.
Got home last night, flick the PC on... Blue screen after blue screen after blue screen.
Cache manager, exception not handled, kernel security check failure, page fault. A selection of them within moments of getting into Windows.

Overclock gone (everything on auto now), RAM now running at 2400, and it seems ok again. Been perfect until now since I dropped the 8Pack in.

This is INCREDIBLY frustrating.

Well have retired my R5 1600 and have built a 2nd R7 2700X system:

Ryzen R7 2700X @ Stock.
Asrock mini-itx motherboard - ab350 gaming-itx/ac.
32gb G-Skill 2400 DDR4.
GTX 1060 FE.
WDB 256 M.2 SSD.
Crucial 750gb SSD.
Toshiba 3TB HDD.
EVGA 650W G2.
CoolerMaster 200mm RGB fan.
2x80mm Artic F8 fans.
Thermaltake Core V1.

Slightly overpowered media centre once l move.

Looks dinky next to the gaming rig :)

Usually works, even with Hynix.

Absolutely. I posted about Ramtest a few weeks ago. It blows all other testing into the weeds. Faster, tests more ram and is very very accurate. Yes it will cost you 9 Euro...........................but the best 9 Euro ever spent.
To give peeps an example, i have 4x8Gb sticks in my rig. Ramtest will be up to 2000% in just over an hour. You can swap and change ram settings and get an answer on that change very fast, no need to wait overnight.

yep, excellent software.

That's good info mate! Did start just after the update, now you mention it...
Might just leave it where it is for a few weeks til the next updates. Still a damn sight quicker than my old rig even with the slow memory!

You are running kinda unstable system as it is so new update totally messed it up. Next update wont be better I'w had it installed on insider and that pushed my overclock even harder hehe.

My 11800% ram test stable system also started to mess up after recent update. Tried all default etc afterwards and nothing would work, kept freezing. In the end I uninstalled all the recent windows update and system seems to be running again. Although I am currently down to everything on auto except for a few memory settings as I forgot what settings I managed to get 3333 with PE3 stable before. Will see if i can get 3466 stable over the weekend after I get my new fans.

And now look at it from TYPICAL JOE perspective that got himself a prebuild system on ryzen from store. MS Rolls this update out and hes system atarts crashing and hanging.

Who do You think he will blame?? AMD or Microsoft.??
Well possible he wont even notice hes windows auto updated and thats why he is crashing. So AMD will get thr blame....

Do they even test this stuff before rollig out??
