Ryzen "2" ?

If a 2700 will do 4Ghz I'll be a happy bunny. I'll upgrade regardless but I'll feel significantly more happy with my purchase if it does. 4.2 would be fantastic.

Its not ryzen 2... Its zen+ christ...

AMD have gone and confused it by scraping the simple 14nm+ process move to going 12nm and architectural tweaks, AMD have stopped calling it "Ryzen +", they are now calling it "Second Generation Ryzen"

What was Ryzen 2 will now be Ryzen 3.

4GHz I won't bother, as I have 3.9 now. I'll wait until next year's update. 4.2+ it's worth a tinker :D

Guess nr2 sells better than +

This Ryzen refresh isn't exactly sounding good.
I'm going to expect it'll be given the same reception Kabylake was?
Depends. Kaby Lake was an overclocked version of Skylake which is probably what Pinnacle Ridge will be. However, Pinnacle Ridge might also improve the IMC performance which'd be nice. Also, Summit Ridge is just an overall better product to begin with than Skylake was so it probably won't be as disappointing as Kaby Lake was.
