Nice job on your mancave... I have one its called my house! 100" 1080p Sony Cinema Projector downstairs with a silly amount inc a full Intel Server i built out of old parts i acquired.. :)
 
humbug you wanna eat humble pie now lol.exactly what i said upto 15 percent up on multi and single 3 percent up :D

That has the new Pinnacle Ridge chip only performing some 3% quicker at single-threaded speeds, but 15% faster in the multi-threaded test.

Wishful aren't you? its still speculation, from my own testing vs those geek benchmarks the IPC uplift is 0, a big fat 0 or its completely fake as you can get to those numbers with a 1600/X, as i did.

I think i posted that fact 3 times in this room, read what i actually say, FFS.
 
No one is expecting more than a 5% IPC gain, i don't know why that would be a bad thing anyway as Intel's average inter-generational IPC is less than that and it would put "2'nd gen" Ryzen ahead of Coffeelake in MT and just a few % behind in ST.

People just need to stop inventing #### and presenting that #### as fact, the only facts we know are its called Pinnacle Ridge. Anything beyond that is pure speculation.
 
Naa the 2800x has got to be higher if it is worth doing at all.
4.4 under boost2 and... maybe 4.5 with XFR? That would be this years cpu right there, well the 2800 might as the Xs dont tend to be worth it over the non Xs.
