Ryzen "2" ?

CanardPC state the all core boost of the 2700X is 3.9ghz(+maybe 0.5ghz XFR) and that is what they performed the tests with by using the A320.

What does @humbug believe the all core boost of the 2700X is?

This is from CanardPC

If I pull the trigger on the 1600 now, which of this memory kit is better?
Both are the same price and B-Die Ics.
Patriot Viper DDR4 3733 CL17 19-19-39
GSkill Ripjaws V DDR4 3200 CL14 14-14-34

I know for Ryzen the 3200 CL14 is the sweet spot, but if the 2600 can clock memory higher, is it worth it to go for the 3733 kit even with it's higher latency to future proof and have a memory kit I can later use on a CPU upgrade?

Cheers!
Get the Patriot Viper, at least they are tested at that speed, for the chance that you might get to run them near that :)

Cool so we agree those are stock speeds and anything else is overclocking? Hence CPC using an A320 to avoid early bioses which overclock the chip.

Running all cores at 4.35ghz would be an overclock.

No, we don't, i agree with whats on the chart, its just CPU speed boosting.

If I run the Patriots at 3200 on the 1600 CPU, what are the chances of beeing able to tighten the timmings to CL14?

The chance are good :)

Everyone already has. You just keep contradicting yourself.

I think CanardPC were wrong not to include the 400 series motherboards in their review results because they misunderstood what was happening.

Before CanardPC entered the fray with their magazine review we already had several leaks with recorded clock speeds of 4.35Ghz, so that, and for other more direct reasons that i have already explained i do not agree with their conclusion that Ryzen 2### achieving these clock speeds during their review was some sort of 'illegal overclocking by the motherboard' in their words "cheating" i'm arguing this is Ryzen 2### behavior by design.

No contradictions in any of that.

Better yet, explain where the contradiction lays? you cannot, you're just going round and round in circles trying very hard to trip me up.

So you think 4.35ghz is the stock all core boost for the 2700x and that the chart is wrong?

So you agree the stock all core boost is 3.9ghz then?

Thats not what it says on the chart

The chart says the following:

8 Cores 3.9
7 Cores 3.95
6 cores 4.0
5 Cores 4.05
4 Cores 4.05
3 Cores 4.1
2 Cores 4.175
1 Core 4.3
--------------------

With other leaks citing 4.35Ghz i believe those findings to be accurate.

This is completely insane, everyone can read, what are you doing?

Just me or has AMD missed the chance to whip up some serious hype in advance of the new chips?

Has it even been confirmed they are due mid April by a reliable source such as AMD themselves?

I really rather they didn't, no just keep tight lipped and let the reviewers do the talking. :)

When its officially sanctioned that is, this CanardPC thing is a leak.
