Ryzen 3 pricing from OCUK

We just do not have the time any more unfortunately, we are so busy, but of course were not complaining about being so busy in Summer. :)
Well that's most disappointing thing I'w read today. Was looking forward to some Lego action shot ;)
But can be worse if they have not finished putting new shock absorbers and W brace on Zee today :P

Quick question to all of you guys. I'm hoping for an upgrade and may just splash out on sunday for the 3600. Now, I have SSDs, GPU, a case and a PSU from my I7, so what would you say is a good value you money MB & Ram to go with the the 3600 that will make me smile without breaking the bank?

Ha, I understand why he has a short temper sometimes, but his assumptions are funny. However lets be fair, he's been very helpful to lots of members today, and that's what counts. :)

Indeed.

Helpful to me to the point I suspect 1k is heading OCUKs way in Sunday.

Cheers G

Do you want X570 and PCIE 4.0? Do you upgrade every couple of years or on a much longer timespan? Any features you must have?

Top end MSI B450 would be ok. X470's if you plan on upgrading to a higher end CPU but don't need PCIE 4.0.

I'm planning X570 with a view running it for 5ish years, initially with an 8 core then after a few years dropping in a 16 core. Some are going 3600 in an MSI Pro Carbon for biggest bang for buck. Memory may not clock as well in the older boards but that isn't known for sure yet.

why do something twice. just buy what you need to last.its always seems dear but will last you longer and work out cheaper.

I'll be keeping it for 5 years I would think. I have a AMD an OCed 480GPU, so that will be upgraded this year to something better. It will be used for a 4k media centre, gaming PC (FPS) and coding (C# / JS).

Yep,

I have no friends, no life, and I hate my job...but at least I’ll have a 12/24 thread chip to bench alone in my underpants very soon :p
Haha, you still have your motorbike though? Was you wasn't it? I got Monday and Tuesday off work next week so I reckon a trip to ocuk Monday morning to pick my stuff up is in order. :)

Sometimes cheaper to do it twice. I'm planning to get the 3600 for about £190 then in a few years time I'll upgrade it to a 3900X when they're obsolete for around £100. I dont need the extra cores right now in 2019 but it will be a good upgrade path in years to come.
