Really can't wait until the 7th my 4790k is really struggling to keep up when it comes to multitasking. Hoping OCUK pricing is competitive as I've found their RMA better than some of their competitors so would prefer to use them for my Ryzen 3000 build.

I cant wait for the 7th either apart from I now realise that I am at Silverstone 12-14th July and so there is no point to me buying that early now. I will defeinately get a 3rd gen after that. I am undecided wether to buy a mobo (b450 msi carbon pro) and some DDR4 (16gb low latency 3200 team group edition stuff) and whether to get the lowly 3600 for the time being and then upgrade that to the 16 cores 4th gen 4950X.

well if those leaked prices on reddit are true cant see them selling fast. 3600 was looking okay at 200 now some sites saying £250. really is going to be interesting seeing how actual benchmarks perform on release and the real pricing.

I see £185 for 3600 and £235 for 3600x which is pretty much inline with what AMD said all along

some one posted early might of been bait ..£250 for the 3600x . when you can get a 2600 for 120 sell 2 games for 30 so 90 quid to 250 thats a big difference. thats too much.

Cheapest I could find it was £124.97 with the game pack, checked all the participating retailers

Good price for both.

9900K is £500 9700K £380

But they're not, took me a couple of seconds to find a cheaper price....agenda?

Right @LePhuronn Agenda? my 1600 was £200 when it launched, please let us not go through the EOL discounts vs new launch debacle again, you buy a new beemer do you complain its more expensive than the old outgoing discounted model?

its been 120 at most places for about a month. even as low as £99 if you check. thats with two games which instantly sell for £30-40. people always talk about value and amd you never had such a good cpu for so cheap. thats why the new ryzen prices even for the 3600 is too dear. its the replacement for the 2600 but cost £100 more.

You don't get the games with all retailers. £124.97 was the cheapest.

as said you seem to keep saying its that price. its been £99. takes all of about 10 secs to see many prices below what you keep quoting .many have done it for 120. 124 with games that sell for £30 is still £95 vs £200. if they dont do games with the one you checked well thats them most do.

Well no 'most don't' Only 8 UK retailers are included in that promotion of which the cheapest was the price I stated. Unless you have a time machine what use is a historic price?

And £30 for the games, try £23 https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/t...-world-war-z-amd-code.18855436/#post-32736596
