RYZEN 5000 SERIES NOW ONLINE - 5950X, 5900X, 5800X & 5600X COMING NOV 5TH AT 5PM **NO COMPETITORS**

£510 is def the cheaper end , saw the same this morning and managed to grab one at that price from their ebay store. Not holding my breath as managed to grab a 5950x from their retail store on monday when they said in stock but no updates and webchat said they were waiting for no stock. So think they are playing silly games with their inventory allocation.
I also grabbed a 5950x from the big box store on Monday. I was told by webchat they were expected in on Friday so I am hopeful we will hear something today or this weekend about shipping. At least I am crossing my fingers.

If not, the news of 800 5900x coming into to OC by the end of the month means that if the 5950x does not work out, at least, crossing fingers, a 5900x would come our way even if at the very end of the queue.

Sold out near instant. THey have just emailed me saying my delivery will be delayed, legit think they are selling stock they don't have so forcing you into a pre-order when they are saying they had stock. They legit put it up as having X amount for sale. Bought that, now saying delayed. Very cheeky.

Although I have no faith in that big box stores inventory allocation (they really seem to just be doing whatever), what time was your order completed with them on monday?

Yes, very cheeky. At least they emailed about it being delayed? Did not get that email with the 5950x so that is kind of interesting.

Same on my 5950x , this was on a 5900x from their ebay store that they emailed. Happned like 5mins after purchase so shows they know they are selling what they dont have. Oh and on the 5950x it is even worse as it has come back 'in stock' with them throughout the week. So kept selling even though knowning they cant fulfill.

I do not see the time information on the email or invoice. Am I missing it? (I do not have an account so I would not have access there.)

When it went up, I tried getting one but it would not let me add to basket. I kept trying, it reloaded to being out of stock, came back but wouldn't let me add, went out of stock again, then came back with a button and this time it let me add and check out. So it was always a bit of a gamble. But as I have not had a cancellation email, at least if they get the stock, there is one allocated (hopefully, that is what I am telling myself).

Ahh I was just going by times of the emails. Got an acknowledgement at 1447 then a processing one at 1452

Received stock alert today for 5900x from high Street store. It was in stock for around 5mins.

I am in the low 200 in current que, so did not purchase.

Hopefully this is a sign of an improve stock situation going forward.

Also, anyone managed to get the hands on X570 Dark Hero MB??

@8 Pack
Posted in the MB Thread, OCUK would have stock by now. He also has a video with a £10k Rig using the MB.

US - EU are selling the DARK HERO already.

But no one has provided confirmed information on a UK release date.

I saw that and tried to buy one but clicked on delivery and it error'd out... collection only. And just as I thought not available for collection anywhere near me or several other further out postcodes I tried!

In other news I found the Ryzen 5000 queue table for a competitor in Stafford - much smaller but I imagine they get a lot less stock. Also selling at bordering on scalping prices...

Product Queue Next delivery ETA
AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 15 Unknown
AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 79 Unknown
AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 29 Unknown
AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 102 Unknown

EDIT: Can't seem to space the table out but I'm sure you can figure it out.

If people don't want to wait, look up some of the Twitter accounts or Discords that post stock updates. Forgetting about the ton of stock that's appeared in Germany, France and Spain. 5900X have appeared in stock 10 times in the last 2 days on one specific UK website, I'm not tracking the others, but I imagine they'll be similar. It's not even ravaged by bots like Ampere is, I was 8 mins late on the alert and there was still 5 left. In comparison, don't bother going to a 3080 link if you've missed the update by more than 30 seconds.

I have to say, the few times I've been tempted to another store I've always been disappointed. I've got to the point I trust OC, and just try to be patient. The turn around on sending stuff out that is in stock has rapidly dropped though - which is a concern for last minute orders. I find myself checking an online retailer for delivery schedules before I decide who to buy from... and i really don't like buying from the online retailer.

I feel largely the same, I've had bad experiences, sometimes repeatedly at some of the OCUK competitors. There's one that I refuse to use after some warranty shenanigans, fortunately Logitech support is fantastic. I've had to RMA a few things over the years and I've always had good experiences with OCUK.

However, that one particular giant doesn't argue over returns and just does straight replacements or full refunds. I can't say their customer support is good, it's just they're so big they take the path of least resistance.

Is that the high street one? Bit shoddy if they let you order without stock or just ‘expected’ stock.
