should be a nice upgrade from my skylake i5 6600K

no idea what motherboard and CPU cooler to buy with it though! (oh and poss RAM change too)

should go nicely with my 5700 XT red devil

Got my 5900x yesterday (queue 150~), built my whole system and it is such a massive upgrade from my old 7820x it's ridiculous.

60+FPS maxed out Psycho RT 1440p Cyberpunk on a 3090, didn't feel anywhere near as smooth on my 7820x just on Ultra RT.
Now let's see if I have enough power to turn it into a good game.

Congrats! I'm now 260 in the queue and desperate for a gaming rig for my 2 weeks of work at Christmas, I might cancel and get a 5800xt which seem readily available atm
