Probably not, Dont think the prices are that great to be fair,
Some people think the planet is flat, and they are wrong too.

I just paid £390 for an eight core CPU that has better IPC than the i7 hex core I paid £470 for in 2013 plus it has additional two cores (four threads). Hell it performs better than intel's current entry level i7 hex core while costing £10 less and still it has additional two cores (four threads).

TBF,if Ryzen does not pan out next week, people can cancel pre-orders or return the orders as long as they are not opened. So its not that risky if you want to order before reviews anyway, although I would probably wait until reviews are out. OTH,that means if Ryzen is decent it might mean it will be harder to get one initially I suspect.

It's a gamble. If Ryzen is every bit as good as it appears it might be, with no major chink in the armour, I can see prices going up with demand exceeding supply.

I'm still undecided but have been pricing up a few different configs. I've always stuck with high end air coolers but would you guys recommend a AIO? Are the loader then a good air cooler like the bequiet dark drock pro? I can fit up to a 280mm rad in the base of my case.

i rather go with air cooler, less hassle.
I do custom watercooling myself as I can easy replace parts like a pump if needed.
for sis kid I said, aircooler is the better option and he been happy with it.
30c difference for him with stock cooler (crap intel)

Well simple really who is gonna grab a Ryzen 7 when they launch?

Not with these chips way over my price range and I have zero use for them honestly. My i5 is plenty good enough for what I use it for. If in the future something better comes out for silly money then I might be tempted, but its not just the chip its the motherboard too. It'd be nice to be back with AMD though had plenty of them back in the day but I've been on Intel for the past 10 years, good lord I can't believe its been that long.

I'll switch back if they are shown in comprehensive reviews to perform much better in the applications I use than my 3570k. Making any decision now without detailed information available is simply foolish. :) Especially pre-ordering something, "pay now buy later" lol.
