Very true, i have to tho... in same vain, i had a Ryzen 1600, a 4690K before that.

The first image is with that 4690K, the second with the Ryzen 1600. It also depends on the game, i mean notice the 100% load on the 46900K and the 33 FPS.... unplayable, 85 with the 1600 and its not over stressed.
I wasn't comparing the 1600 with Intel. 50 - 55fps was actually a great result. My point was, it was far far far lower than what the review showed that I should be getting, cause they tested in a way less cpu bound location

ok :)

7800X3D only has 8 cores, so anyone running AAA games with a few background apps open will see performance benefit from a 12 or 16 core model. These reviews are 100% clean systems, nothing installed bar benchmarks/drivers - all 'normal' people would have some background apps going on, all of which use more cores.
Disagree. Games like high boost on a single core. 12 or 16 cores are overkill.

erm… I don’t think I’d see that with my 4090 at 1440p in a graphically loaded title

He's trolling as an AMD simp. Looks at reviews it's nowhere near that fast on average. You keep enjoying your CPU, it's regarded as one of the best.

Thats really bad. Both AMD and Nvidia are clearly playing games with us.

This is a sack of **** spread by tech sites that didn't understand what the very specific term undershipping means.

Some of them deleted their articles once it was explained.

I think the general principle is accurate however. Tech companies always withhold stock to ensure their launch runs out of stock and gives the impression their product is great.

The 7950X3D is in a different league to 5800X3D. It’s massively faster and that’s why it’s been released. I’m not sure how people are confusing the the hardware of the 7950X3D and the 5800X3D.
