Poll: Ryzen 7950X3D, 7900X3D, 7800X3D

Since lima major took a while to start, I did what @LtMatt instructed, went into quads, I died (pretty easily might I add) and then just spectated till the end, 1% ended up at 184. Lowest recorded was 150 I think, but mostly it stayed between 172 and 186. This upload is going to take a WHILE.



And this is the previous QUADS without spectating

Appreciate the effort dude. Feedback to you would be that you need to start the FPS benchmark capturing as the plane scene starts before you jump out the plane to copy my video. Also, you used DLSS Performance mode and not native 1440P resolution like me, so it's not really like for like, you must have been running at 720P resolution or something?

At the end of the round your 1% lows were 134 and your average FPS 229. Suddenly my 1% lows of 169 and average FPS of 333 don't look so bad, eh!

In average you are higher, already said so at the beginning. The "low" frequency and probably the 3.7ghz cache hurts the 12900k a lot in that area.

But my 1% lows never dropped to 130,i think you are looking at 0.2% there.

Im not comparing 12900 with the 3d, the latter is obvously faster (although not in wz2 lows).

Ι used ULTRA Perforamance, almost went blind

Just tried with ecores off,, yikes, performance was abysmal.

Okay, last try with overclock, ended up with over 200 1% lows (230 or something). Dropped to 170s at points, but mostly it was at 190-200. Will upload that as well, going to watch Lima Major now

I think we did, once, we had an OCUK Star Citizen meet, I think.... i'm 90% sure @Harshell123 was part of that group, in any case i'm going to organise another one soon and i'm hoping he will join us, CIG depending when, like the rest of us i'm waiting for the latest patch to drop.

Can you try to run warzone on all 16 cores somehow? Turn off HT for good measure as well. That might explain your 1% lows. I noticed that with ecores off, the game starts using HT a lot. With ecores on it doesn't touch the HT cores almost at all, sometimes they sit at 0%, and for some reason that boosts performance. Maybe you have a similar issue?

I get it, its not for everyone, and i'm certainly not going to try and change your mind, tho if you have an account from around 2013 that you got with a 290X you may have an AMD branded ship

If you do hang on to it, its already quite valuable on the grey market and increasing in value all the time.

I want to see those 1% low numbers from a video recording, just like mine.

Here's the config file you can use so we use the exact same settings at 1080P/1440P.

your 1% is low due to the specifics of the game after the update on the 7900 maps, it is when the plane is flying, if the BIOS turns off SAM, the problem is solved

Interesting, I’ve never tried disabling SAM, as it helps average FPS. When I look at other people’s 1% in Warzone on video they are usually lower than mine tbh, that applies to 13900 K and both AMD/Nvidia GPUs. I also think the 1% lows are affected by server latency too.

Hey Humbug do you know how to retrieve such ships? I know I got one at least as I bought a couple 290s way back then. I never got around to playing the game but remember going the through the process of registering the ship/s.

Anyone getting high temps in Warzone on the new 3d CPU? A friend has one and he told me he’s seeing it hit over 80 degrees. He’s using a 360 AIO, which is what I will be using, I wouldn’t be pleased. Is there something he could be doing wrong @LtMatt?
