Yes, I’ve got a long backlog from here, other forums and YouTube Lol. I’ll never get to them all so tend to stick to the games that interest me the most tbh. I don’t play Battlefield 2042, but I do have it so I’ll see if I can fit time in at some point to play a round and capture some data.
That's very kind of you dude. I'm currently using a 7900x CPU and according to available data there's apparently a 10%-15% increase in BF2042.

I have no idea what that looks like in real world application, but I am curious if if makes a noticeable difference in game playing at 3440x1440 @ 175hz paired with a 7900xtx GPU?

changed back to dx12 and even better performance then before

hi guys, i just got my 7950x3D and ASUS X670E-E mobo. Just installed and updated BIOS to 1003 (beta).

Also installed G.SKILL 2x 16 GB DDR5 6000Mhz CL30, and manual edited timings according to this guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dlYxmRcdLVw

In Windows 11 i just installed AMD Latest chipset driver, and thats all.

Which settings i should set on BIOS for best usage of 7950x3D in games ? Can anyone share bios settings with me please ? Thank you.

My DRAM timings: ( is this good ? )

Yeah, It’s odd. Will post scores shortly and put up a video later.

Those results look fine to me no serious regression in bandwidth.
Yeah very weird Indeed, check if maybe you left pre render frames in NCP to 2 or 3 because on BF5 you could do that to get better fps on dx11.

Copy is 300 less but write is like 1000 more
and better latency with GDM disabled.

Did 25 cycles usmusV3 admin mode, Y-CRUNCHER 40mins, OCCT large extreme 1 hour and 2:20min aida64 cache stress. I think it's pretty stable because with GDM enabled was 100% stable too

All Nvidia control panels settings are default never bother changing anything there other than colour bit rate.

Keep GDM off it’s the best performant in games. Bandwidth generally means very little in games

I’ll give you some feedback on these in a bit.

Okay so just ran DX12 again and now I’m getting better average FPS using that than DX11.
Yeah you had me thinking deep

edit: do you get better average fps the first benchmark run then doing another run straight after?

Weird because in CSGO the 2nd benchmark is always better average.

Try these and test, note it's not going to fix your bad performance below but should be better than what you are using.

1.35v might be okay, or you might need to bump it a little (1.375v) depending on the quality of your DIMMs. VDDP 1.150v is also a bit high for 6000Mhz, try 1.100v.

You should also be aiming for Geardown mode disabled, but lets not run before we can walk.

Also, did you adjust the FCLK manually yourself?

Yeah there's something seriously wrong there, you have worse performance than non X3D parts. :p

Quick simple things to check are:
  • Make sure CPPC in BIOS is set to Auto and not Cache, Frequency or Driver
  • Make sure C States have not been set to disabled in the BIOS
  • Latest AMD Chipset drivers installed
  • Make sure Game Bar is enabled in Windows and up to date (update it via Windows Store) - this part is important update that game bar!
  • Make sure Game Mode is not disabled in Windows
  • Make sure you have the following seven entries in Device Manager and you have two AMD VCache entries in Task Manager

Generally if X3D performance breaks the user himself has to go out of his/her way to break it, usually by changing something either in BIOS or Windows that X3D relies on.
