I don’t know how it could be better on an 8 core limited gameDilemma for those with an AM5 motherboard waiting for the 7800X3D. How’s the 7900X3D going to perform in comparison with 2 CCD’s, probably gojng to be worse than the 7800X3D in gaming?

Would predict £450+. The $ price doesn’t include VAT and OCUK have to take their cut
£600 then.Would predict £450+. The $ price doesn’t include VAT and OCUK have to take their cut
Plus VAT, thats near enough £699$699 for the 7950X3D so that's what... £570?
April launch for the 7800X3D @ $449
Hopefully OCUK does a reasonable price on these to make up for not providing haribo anymore
lol April for the cheapest and probably best CPU for gaming. Basically no one is buying the others for gaming so lets cash in on them early.
Ouch.. Yeah I'm tempted, but not sure until reviews are out.Plus VAT, thats near enough £699
The 7900 just seems weird as you get 6 V-cache cores and 6 standard Zen 4 cores. You get a 200mhz speed bump on these V-cache cores though. The 7950 should be a bit better as you get 8 v cache cores for gaming along with another 8 for other tasks but it remains to be seen if this is actually better for gaming. Will the 7900 and 7950 actually be slower, or just not as good value for money?
That's the decision maker.. should be interesting. The 7900 just seems weird as you get 6 V-cache cores and 6 standard Zen 4 cores. You get a 200mhz speed bump on these V-cache cores though. I would want the 7900 if it was 8 V-cache cores and 4 non v-cache ones. At least if these CPUs are popular and sell out there will be a bunch of these 7900s available as no one will want them7950 or 7800 for me.
7900 with those six v cache cores just seems odd.
Can't wait for all the useful 1080p 700 fps benchmarks
