I'm not so sure. I mean they priced their GPUs sky high despite the performance being pretty mediocre but having said that I don't expect the jump from zen4 > 3DX to be as large as it was for zen 3 due to the DDR5 memory being less of a bottleneck.I’m surprised they aren’t more expensive. Maybe it’s because they’re not as good as people expect them to be. Something fishy’s going on.
I don’t think they are going to be bad, and the majority of people on here know what to expect in terms of performance. It’s the people that just think “look at the last 3d CPU, this one’s going to be much better”. I honestly think the people that have held off aren’t going to be disappointed comparing it to the rest of the recent lineup, but I have a feeling a small number of people might have the bar set far too high. I think it’s going to be a lot closer between Intel and AMD this time.I'm not so sure. This is why I don’t think it’s going to be as good an option against that especially. It’s priced lower than expected, but you have to compare it to the 13600k which is cheaper. Should be fun.Price is not too bad and the wait is only another month extra. Quite eager to see how it stacks up to the cheaper 13600K.
I hope both you and uscool remember these posts when the reviews come out. Don't link any 720 and 1080p review and claim superiority for the 3dThat and Toms Diner.
I am very interested in the testing using 720p in Cyberpunk don’t get me wrong. I honestly think YouTubers should do such tests because the majority of the testing used is crap, but this argument has been done to death. Choose a CPU based on the games you play. If you want to play Cyberpunk and Horizon Zero Dawn get bothI hope both you and uscool remember these posts when the reviews come out. There you go peeps, over £600 for a 12 core.
Whoops.You're about 3 pages late.
Where does it say that? I can see £579 but not over £600AMD's first Ryzen 7000X3D gaming processors arrive on February 28th

If the 13900K is £629 then AMD must surely think they can beat it with teh 7900X3D based purely on the pricing?
I dont know, taking a quick look, the top endZ790 seems more expensive then X670 but Z790 is £50 cheaper then X670 on the low end, not really that much in itMy 5900x cost roughly that, a 7900x3D should be a pretty sizable performance bump for the same price. Though the am5 platform pricing can bite my arse.
