I just wish that they benchmarked games that are limited by the core simulation. Take stellaris. A game that really benefits from a decent CPU. The big simulation games.

Anything with a lot of things happening at once, lots of NPCs or objects moving around can benefit from a decent CPU. Cyberpunk was referenced earlier, in certain places it will max out a CPU. GTA is another that can push a CPU hard, more so when 6 comes. Civilization, Far Cry, Assassin’s Creed etc. are others that need a decent CPU.

Already posted a couple of days ago. We are starting to see some game benchmarks leak since which is showing some very big gains in some games.

No you don't get it. I have said nothing for or against any resolution.

We're going to see the same running joke repeated of gpu choked higher resolutions and down at the low resolutions with fps over 300 really far from any cutting edge gaming experience the brand new best gaming cpu will be crowned.

And the crowd goes mild.
You seem excessively angry about this. So you are moaning because we will see low resolution tests that will stress teh CPU and moaning that we will see high resolution tests that wont stress the CPU? What exactly do you want to see? FYI my mate games at 1080p and loves the rediculously high FPS, not my cup of tea but everyone has their own preferences.

I really love these type of games and a big part of the experience is waiting for the enemy to make their turn.A shortening of these turns would be a large gameplay benefit so would be great if these could be benchmarked as well. Might benchmark a few turns on Stellaris to give people an idea of the benefit of what these new CPUs can do.

Saw that a French retailer was offering pre-orders and the euro adjusted pound price is £703 for the 7900X3D and £820 for the 7950X3D. Hopefully OCUK can do better because if they can’t I’m gonna wait for the 7800X3D!

I’ll probably buy a few 7950X3D (luck permitting) so may shift one a little below cost on the MM a day or two after launch. ;)
