S/C Installation all done - Up and running, WOOOOOSH!!!

Don't forget to go under the bonnet now and re-torque all the fittings and check all the bolts, fixtures and screws as they are liable to work loose. Remember the threadlock! :D

Great stuff, glad it works :)

Poor car :(

I'd hate to be your PC Gibbo :D

Seriously, good job well done (apart from the injector rail! ;) ). Hope she continues to run sweetly, and gets some good ragging in due course.

It'll be interesting to see what figures the Mustang is putting out now. Pretty high I imagine!

Hi there

Just been out for another drive.

Wound it up to 4500rpm this time and oh my the sound!! Its so much better than before. It now sounds like there is 7.0l under the bonnet even on normalish acceleration. Foot to the floor and it whines oh so lovely, gonna keep it all sub 4500rpm for now and keep a check on everything. :)

Also MPG seems hardly effected which is good. All I can say is booting it in 4th from 1200rpm just result in insane pickup, its real nice.

Can't wait to get it on the rollers and get the lowering mounts in as it is rubbing against the bonnet insulation ever so slightly.

Gonna put about 400-500 miles on it before I truly start taking it upto 6000rpm and I need to get used to it myself. Plus at the moment she is running on a very conservative and RICH tune for safety until I get some A/F readings. Supposedly once they get my A/F ratio they might be able to give me upto another 50BHP, crazy stuff. :D
Plus I never gapped the plugs, setting them to 0.32-0.35 can yield some extra power too as that is the recommended setting.

Also beginning to master 2nd, half throttle upto 3000rpm which still pulls harder than full throttle previously did and then nail it and my god its like the world is ending. Absolutely loving it!!! :D

Also handling and steering response seems un-affected considering there is another good 30kg on the front-end. However once its dropped 1/2 inch it will handle nicer. :)

Man oh man Gibbo, if you can truthfully say you WILL keep it under 4500rpm, for another 400-500 miles, you must have the patience of a saint.

There is no way I would be able to resist the urge to plant that foot and listen to all the V8 gorgeousness, beautifully harmonised with the whine of a supercharger.

Major respect to you for doing it, and even more if you do manage to keep your right foot under control.

:D :D Sounds like a totally amazing car!

Ditto to Spie's post... you should have a massive 'SUPERCHARGED' sticker. Otherwise it's no fun!
