:D :D Sounds like a totally amazing car!

Ditto to Spie's post... you should have a massive 'SUPERCHARGED' sticker. Otherwise it's no fun!

Sod that, cut a hole in the bonnet and have it sticking out Mad Max style. Suck in surrounding neighbourhoods with a quick flick of the throttle :D

You and me both, the RR day is going to be quite special this time, i just hope the usual drive down will rock, last one was amazing, the Stang sounded great on the motorway!

It smelt good too, I spent 20 miles breathing in it's fumes. :D

Sounds like very good fun indeed.

How much does the car weigh?

Hi there

The supercharger has added some weight so I reckon its something in the 1570-1620kg area. :)

Around 350BHP per tonne I think. :D

Hi m8

It smells even better now!

As this is the first tune its a safe one thats both conservative on the power and set on the rich side. Afterall running rich is a lot safer than running lean. I am down PowerStation next Wednesday to have engine lowering mounts put in and everything checked over. Shall also be going on the RR to see what she is producing and to get some A/F read outs. Then I can give the data to my guy in the US who can finalise my tune for me in time for the RR.

I will also no doubt be removing the DE-CAT pipes too whilst at PowerStation as I can't stand the UZI machine gun type noise I get around 2000rpm.

surely this is the only saleen mustang thats SC in the country now, as im sure you said were hardly any saleen stangs in the uk

Congratz on doing it your self, il await a video :D

Hi there

Think there is 1-2 Saleen S/C cars but they are the official Saleen S/C car. Which are not as good. Basically 430-460BHP at the crank dependent on year. As the Saleen cars don't have uprated injectors or MAF so they lean out past 5800rpm hence why most are sub 450BHP. Plus Saleen make good cars but are not the best tuners.

JDM who are now tuned over 400 Saleen supercharged Mustangs get another 30-50BHP even from a stock Saleen with simply their tunes, plus their tunes give a better margin of safety too.

One guy in the US has identical setup to myself, same headers, de-cats etc. etc. He is running the JDM Race tune which has been tweaked on the dyno and his is running 540BHP and 560Lb-Ft. Mine won't be anywhere near that due to running a safe conservative tune but hopefully with time, datalogging and a couple of dyno runs I can get close to it. :)

AWESOME!

I am so pleased for you that it all went well. You must be very chuffed and pretty proud.

Will you be coming to the Pub after the rollers, if so is your passenger seat available? I'll buy you a coke or something at the pub!

Firstly, have you made sure the rolling road you are using for the shootout can handle the car? Some of the older ones only go upto 500BHP!

You might also wanna pre warn them that you are bringing THAT there, to make sure they have enough straps to strap it down on full power.......

Cant wait to see the RR graph print out

Powerstation know all about it dude ;)

Secondly, nokinidea (Andy) is from PS :)

Sounds good, what boost is it running?

You may find it makes most of its boost at half throttle hence why its so quick like that.
My Rover turbo made most of its boost at half throttle, so going to full throttle only yielded a bit more performance.

Sounds awesome though, not many cars have more than 350bhp/tonne, you wont get beaten often unless you regularly come up against Ferrari F40s etc :D
