Oscar Garcia gone already. Surprised he lasted that long tbh. Must be quite ill. Whatever the details, he just seems like a really odd person.

Hope he gets better.

I heard this morning that he's being given the Swansea game? like Newcastle aren't going to get thumped by them? :p

I can genuinely only think of 1 team that wouldn't thump us. Even then, I wouldn't be surprised if we didn't get a result if we played Burnley...

Rodgers might get the chop if Liverpool don't liven up. Relegation risk on their current performance and a bad start to the CL doesn't bode well, when you compare to last season.

Is this genuinely what Liverpool fans are feeling?
They lost their best player in the Summer and Sturridge is injured.
Their 2 most important players from last year are not playing.
Surely this can't be a surprise?
How do Liverpool fans feel about this?

As a non Liverpool fan (but having gone through the terrible season with D.Moyes, as a Man Utd fan), I have to say that you can't really base a decision on 5-6 league games, when you have bought a lot of players, lost your best player (Suarez) and Sturridge is injured.

And just to put it into context, Liverpool are currently 3 points from 4th place.

I'm not a Liverpool fan if that's what you meant. I just pointed out the contrast between this seasons performance (so far) and last.

I've had loads of discussions about this topic (Liverpool), and I really think they are going to struggle without Suarez this season. Even when he's not starting for them, his presence around the training ground would lift the players to up their game. His attitude on the field as well would push others to up their game too. Sturridge won't be the player he was last season, simply because he's now the main man, with no one to push him. Balotelli isn't the man to do it.

El oh el.

I don't think it's that bad at all, tbh. I still see the race for fourth spot as a race between Liverpool/Manyoo/Tottenham/Everton... and all of those teams have started badly, not just Liverpool. Certainly not relegation candidates :o.

Everyone is a relegation candidate when they start badly it seems. Except under Roy, then we would've been fighting to stay up

Bull**** Brendan himself has said that they're in transition, again - http://www1.skysports.com/football/...ers-admits-they-are-in-a-period-of-transition -so that will buy him some time.
After the vast amount of money he's spent this year I wonder where the failure bar is placed?
I don't really.

Of course we're in a period of transition, our starting line up has consisted off a new CB/RB/LB/Winger/Striker for almost every game this year, so half the team has changed due to injury and replacements.
