Bit weird mourinho sacked thread gets locked but had one for Brendan 0.o

Here's hoping special needs isn't back in the league again, horrible manager

Meh, whenever small clubs sack managers there's not a thread either, only the elite clubs get their own manager threads :p.

I don't understand why people are getting annoyed with people saying that Mourinho isn't a great... I don't think anyone saying that he isn't a great has said he is rubbish. In fact most of us have also said that he is a very very good manager if not a quality manager.

Just because some of us do not agree that he a "Great" there is no need to see it as JM being attacked or that his achievements are not merited.

well said.

Robbo what are your thoughts on that?

me myself have said his above average ie a good manager. never said he is ****.

Just feel he aint as great as people like you think he is IMO

Also: do u reckon the players are rebilious against RA and not jm?

could the players still underperform for the rest of the season and dare i say it get relegated in hopes to sticking one up on RA?

could always be the case where the players want the whole club to suffer and has nothing against JM?

Maybe JM is the only bloke on RA's side? who knows

Who will be the next Chelsea boss?

Oh god lol

No. its the truth , well it has been since RA been there.

Doubt any Chelsea fans are worried or bothered that JM got the sack as they know in a few years they will win the league/CL again

They'll win it this year, Spurs will finally clinch 4th spot and then be cast aside to let Chelsea back in next year :p

Think it's a terrible move for Chelsea.

I see Carlo going to Bayern. Hiddink until the summer fits, for $$$$$, given he has nothing to lose/they're not going to get relegated/there are expectations they'll get top four/etc... and he'd get a shot at the champions league.

Yeh, I could perhaps see that. Hiddink was popular while at Chelsea was he not?

I think Chelsea should chase Simeone, as I personally think he's one of the best young managers in Europe.

I think Chelsea would want someone 'solid' whom can hopefully finish at least top six, and would not rock the boat too much.

off that list i would love to see Curbishley there... bring back players like Scott Parker, Carlton Cole and convince RA to splash the cash on Paul Konchesky.

I'm not sure what's most surprising, how bad things went wrong or how long it's taken Chelsea to sack him?

Mourinho hasn't suddenly forgot how to manage, the players haven't suddenly become poor players and it's not as if they've had massive injury problems to blame either. I mentioned an article by Matthew Syed the other day and there's been a couple of others written along the same theme - Mourinho style of man management can only work for so long. There can only be so many campaigns, conspiracy's and dark forces before the players stop paying attention or worse, turn on him. I think Capello commented on it not that long ago too, saying Mourinho burns his players out within 2 years.

These theories/comments are the only logical reason I can see as to why things have got so bad. I can't decide whether the players are physically and mentally exhausted, don't give a **** or both. Mourinho has tried everything from defending his players to criticising them, taking them out the team, back in the team. Nothing has worked. So many of them look completely disinterested.

Ramon Calderon thinks he'll end up at Real....

After the way he split the entire club in half last time?

I very much doubt Simone would take it, he is level on points with Barca at the top of La Liga and has one of the best young squads in Europe. He has a chance to pick up the La Liga, Copa del Rey titles this year as well as getting a pretty good draw in the Champions League and I can't see PSV putting them out.

So, the chance to get his 2nd La Liga, 2nd copa del rey and try and make his 2nd CL final in just a few years... or take over a team that more than probably will not make the CL next season
