This'd be after he'd tried to do those three things... it'd be in the summer. They have a good squad, but it's previously been demonstrated they struggle to keep hold of players... at Chelsea who wouldn't lose players to rivals/would be able to build a squad and keep it/etc.

I don't agree, build a squad for how many years? Chelsea have had 10 managers in 10 seasons and the last manager that was really allowed to build a squad and was there for over 3 seasons was Claudio Ranieri, once he built an amazing squad RA found a way to get rid of him and bring in JM.

I would stay at A Madrid if I was Simone, not up to me though but I dont think Chelsea will be able to find it that easy to get him.

Oh dear oh dear oh dear specialist in failure has finally been sacked. Such a shame that a great fantastic and well respected manager has been sacked yet again from Chelsea :/. In all honesty worst move ever as I was hoping that he would continue his epic work in taking Chelsea to rock bottom.

Oh well at least I won't have to listen to him taking pot shots at Arsenal and Wenger anymore lol. Karma is such a nice person

this is bad news. especially for man utd. i'd imagine whoever they had in mind will be snapped up by chelsea and was probably a factor in the sacking.

Lets face it, managers have been sacked for a lot less. A LOT LESS like Ranieri... finished 2nd but lost to Monaco in the Champions League, shocking form there Ranieri... and Di Matteo after a shocking 13 game start to the season where he picked up an obscene amount of losses... 2... just terrible management from RdM.

I can see Chelsea making a run at Pep if he does decide to leave Bayern at the end of the season. Meanwhile get an interim manager to see this season out.

Hiddink the interim manager, will probably pull them away from relegation, can still see a half decent shot at a europa league spot, 8-10th more realistic.
