Sacked for kicking the head off a snowman...

That’s not what I asked nor what I suggested.
I can genuinely put myself into the shoes of a chap who has 'attempted' to road house kick a snow man, yes. Once, I used to grab the vines of willow trees and swing too. I also 'carved out' a holly bush on the inside to make a den.

What is your point/ follow-on question?

It wasn’t just a roundhouse kick tho, was it?
It was a prolonged attack. Sickening.
You made a post in the 'weewee' forum about ******* in your own mouth so that you could 'weewee' continually.

And you think a chap hitting some snow is sickening?

Have you watched the video? You'll realise you have wasted far too much time on your post once you have. Or, you have a problem against people of lesser standing than yourself empty your bins.
Yes I've seen the video, and I literally said that a senior council person or anyone else really should be held to the same standard. So that's 0 for 2 on stupid assumptions you've made. And I also said if it were up to me I'd have just given him a warning.

What would you put in this warning exactly? Asking for a friend who is also a jobsworth.

I assume there is a code of conduct that he'll be bound to as part of his employment, either between the council and his agency, or his agency to himself. And I would assume that code of conduct would include some wording to the effect of maintaining a basic level of behaviour and decency because you are representing the council. So I would remind him of that, and that further breaches will have to be taken very seriously. If no such code of conduct actually existed, I would remind him that he has a duty to uphold a basic standard of decorum while carrying out his duties, and that in this instance he fell well short of that.

You can say that all sounds like management speak if you like, the basic message is don't be a ****, but you can't exactly write that in an email.

More specifically "don't act the **** when you're probably the most disposable 'staff' in the entire organisation"

That's common sense that you'd hope anyone might pick up having lived more than 16 years on this planet, rather than what his boss should say to him. Obviously this guy didn't pick that up though. inb4 I'm looking down on bin men because I expect them to be able to act like normal humans like every other type of employee in the world.

You totally misjudged the direction I was going in.

My next post, after you took the time to write your novel on what you would put into a written warning, was to say what a valuable use of council resources that would be, i.e. my tax. Probably not a bad insight into what council middle managers are up to though.

Maybe having your mask on your neck whilst sticking both hands down your joggers to try and find your tiny manhood in public probably isn't the best thing to be doing when your in the public eye.

The guy looks like a total weapon and sounds like one too.

I certainly wouldn't invite him round my house. Nothing to do with him being a binman but a complete waste of space.

:p:p Yeah I definitely am not his friend. But sacking him doesn't seem like the right answer.

You don't break any laws but get severely punished just for doing something people take issue with, welcome to 2021. Conform or be unemployed.

I misjudged the direction of a post you hadn't yet made? I can only apologise lol.

Such a lengthy tome that was that I wrote, you're right. Can I reimburse you for your time for that?

It would take all of 3 minutes to write the warning email I described, calling it a waste of resources and misspending of your own personal hard paid tax money is pretty ridiculous.

You don't know his past disciplinary history.

This could have been one of many issues.
"Chap was also seen DESSIMATING snow man that had MELTED, had audacity to BOTTLE IT and drink it through a STRAW for ALL TO SEE".

But yes, you're right.
