If there is a video I hope it has sound, I want to hear his neck snap

I think he got off lightly, a lot of the people he persecuted were tortured and killed in evil ways. He got a quick clean death which he didn't deserve. Now in a pefect world.............. I don't think he should've been executed. I tihnk he should've been spared his life and imprisoned to mark the beginning of a new less violent era in Iraq(kind of wiping the slate clean and saying now this is how were going to continue). His execution just shows Iraq is still a violent place and the killing continues......

Two U.S. soldiers in Iraq killed "just minutes" after the execution, according to Sky News.

Unclear if it is related or not...

I agree, i do not believe that killing him was a smart thing to do, he should have served life somewhere, i do no believe in the death penalty, although saying that, if my family was killed or hurt i bet i would. :/
Iraq gets rid of a violent dictator in a violent way, in this day and age there should be a reformation to change rules like this so that every country can be civil.

Saddam was executed, as an act of justice. He is not ""being killed"" or murdered - execution is the Iraqs way.

100's of thousands of men (all the gulf wars) have died as a result of this mans defiance. Last thing I want to see is a sicko-sado video like that.

Death probably was the easy option, it would have been nice for him to see the rest of his days face humiliation, lack of freedom, dignity and the will to live.

But for every second whilst he would have been alive there would have been countless organisations plotting on how to free him. Many more lives would have been lost and God forbid what would have happened should he have escaped and gone underground.

Morally right or not, for everyones sake (and his), it's the best place for him.

exactamundo. given the amount of people being slaughtered on a daily/weekly basis, i don't see how you can attribute allied troop deaths in the next few weeks towards the execution of saddam.

Pretty much it. He should really have shot himself. The execution wont make Iraq any better. And it wont remove Iraq as the biggest blot in recent UK history. Thanks Tony.

We should do a side by side comparison of how many Saddam has killed and how many have died so far based on the lies of a mad man who speaks to god and his pet limey.
