I found Genki right at the start of the game, I never knew you had to kill him then and have never seen him since (I never killed him I just watched him run across the road). Nice one on finding and killing him m8. The bike and car you get after some Trail Blazing missions, they seem to be the fastest in the game I think.

genius!

have people got fraps overlaying on this game. i cant get it to do so for peanuts. deactivated aero etc but no joy :(
 
The only thing which really bugs me about this game are the engine sounds. It doesn't matter what speed you're doing, if you're in mid-air or if you're at top speed, it always sounds like you're accelerating through the same gear and a lot of the time it sounds completely out of place. If you reach top speed in any other game the RPM will stay at the same place or bounce off the limiter but on here it keeps changing gear but never goes any faster. In mid air you'd expect to hit the rev limiter if you kept your foot on the accelerator but it doesn't do that on here.

But that's just me nit-picking and being a car-bore. Love the Metal on the radio stations though, didn't expect that :p

Annoys me too a little, each car seeming has an infinite number of gears but never gets any faster - appears to just be a sound on a loop repeating over and over. The engine sounds are all really quiet too, some cars are barely audible/distinguishable from other game sounds even with music off.
 
Just finished main story with most of the activities. 93% complete which is pretty good really. Loved every single minute of it. Will do the last 7% when some decent DLC missions come out
 
that the whored mode? beyond comedy!

so i have put about 3.5 hours in now. loving it. the 4890s put up a good fight at 1080p until you go airborne and you can see for miles.....bit chuggy

is the game more gfx or cpu intensive? i am getting an sb i5 in jan so is that gonna help?

yep thats whored mode, bloody nightmare some of the levels are lol

I would say the game is a lot more Gfx intensive, it hammers my 2Gb 6950 pretty hard :)

If anyone fancies some Co-op at some point my Steam is SeraphX :)
