I think GTAIV was fine with a pad.. till you played online. Seeing as this has no competitive mode, I reckon whatever takes your fancy... probably a pad for me.

I'll hopefully know for sure tomorrow night. If it doesn't arrive in the morning I will be rather unhappy.
 
Its unlocked for the UK, but mine wont load at all

Decided to delete and start again :mad:

Least its maxing out a 5.2mb per.. so should be an hour or so tops i hope.

Yeah tried all of that, just wouldnt work... some people are having this issue it seems, im thinking its DLC related and because this CJ fella hasnt sent my key I reckon im borked :D

Still last resort, wont take long.. already done 20%.

Will be fine untill they get the codes, assuming they were seperate and not merged into the main key?

Can anyone with a Genki pre-order confirm if the Genki key was seperate?

Have you got a key from CJs? Is yours working, I mean just to play the game itself?

I knew I should have waited, stupid VPN... now my save games gone as well so ill be doing the opening missions again :D
 
Head up guys, turning lighting detail to low has next to no impact on overall visuals (it disables a heavy DOF effect when zooming) and will add an extra 15-20 to your frame rate. For me it makes the difference between running at 40 - 50 odd fps and a constant 60 vsynced. Bonus.
 
To the people that have it unlocked and playing, whats your first impressions so far?

Is it better than SR2? I thought SR2 was a bit meh.
 
Mine is downloading 2gb. I take it that is Genki? I did enter the Genki code earlier today so it was all ready. Seems a bit much 2gb for a few little things.

Would have thought it would be added to the 2nd DVD or is this a patch?
 
Daft question, can you buy SR3 from the Steam store? Im on the internet browser version of Steam cos Im at work so cant install the Steam app.

SR3 isnt listed??? Only SR2.

There is a steam forum for SR3 though?!? Im confused.

You'll have to double check the fine details yourself, but it's something along the lines of GAME threatening to drop all SR3 stock if they put it on steam. So while it's a steamworks game and you can't play it without, you need to get it boxed or from a key reseller.
