Sam Allardyce - Sacked as England manager amid corruption investigation

Our press are poison though. Horrible lot.

Kind of shows that this isn't a one off though and he obviously knows the ins and outs of it. What you do have to question though is if they 'knew' of these activities while he was at Sunderland and / or before and they've only done it now because he's England manager.

Need a manager that has the balls to pick his own team without interference.

Does anyone think the FA will put someone in charge that will do that though?

The FA look equally foolish in all of this, they must surely know of this sort of thing going on and rumors etc. and their latest puppet has been caught out.

What terrifies me is that Big Sam was the best they could get in the off season. Dread to think who they have on the table now during the season.....Southgate.... :(

Well obviously as the FA have acted so swiftly they have another manager lined up to replace him right?....Oh wait....

Right, if they haven't lined up a replacement in a whole day, they shouldn't send the message that corruption is fine and just let him keep going till they find a replacement. No business would do that, if someone does something that puts a manager/ceo/whatever in the position that he has to go... he goes, you don't wait to find the replacement first. If something happened requiring that guy to go he has to go straight away.
