Samsung 870 EVO any problems known

my replacement should be here in a few days. Any reports of newer drives failing? I hope Samsung have fixed the problem in these drives.

The drives seem to start showing errors (which can you find in magician, or crystaldiskinfo) quite quickly, just 5-10 TB is enough, so if your drive reaches this number and doesn't have any ecc / ecc uncorrectable errors or bad blocks/reserved blocks being used, by this point, it is probably one of the good ones and you can relax (or, as much as you can with any drive).
 
Just got my RMA replacement 4TB Evo today. Its got a manufacturing date of June 2022. That's 18 months newer than my last one so hopefully, Samsung would have fixed the issue within those 18 months.
 
Micron or Kingston enterprise drives is what i use these days.
Gigabyte seems to have high endurance ratings on consumer drives so thats a plus. Crucial is everyones go to favourite too
 
Bought 2 870 4tb Evo's, feb 2021 and sept 21, terrible errors on feb 21 drive , around 10tB written, and other with just 1.7TB written, i have heard even sept/nov 21 drives have the problem, i have read 100's of pages and reports on this problem, i currently have like 9 tabs open of websites and forums about people complaints about this, below is what matters, any count on them get it returned, .

Elevated "Reallocated Sector Count", "Used Reserve Block" and "Runtime Bad Block" count
Non-zero "Uncorrectable Error Count" and "ECC Error Rate"

To guys that have had rma done, anyone got a link where i can send mine back to ? thx
