I've had the E900 a good month now, how is everyone with one finding the battery life? It seems a little short to me, one charge lasts maybe 4 or 5 days tops, although a charge only seems to take 2 hours?

Mine lasted 2 days straight out of the box. I am still on my 1st proper charge, so too early for me to report I'm afraid.

Nice phone tho - a very worthwhile upgrade :)

What is it that you are trying to store on the memory card? Text messages? Contacts?

It is mainly the text messages im really after, as it seems to mention SIM or phone memeory only, and not the memory card which I find a bit strange, so when it comes to storing all my incoming texts, it limits you to 200 only, what if I have more than that amount?

Thats a bit strange. I would have thought that they would have at least given you the option to save to a memory card as and when required. Under "My folder" is that based on the memory card? If so, then I could just move selected messages to there as a saving function?

I think that the "my folder" is phone based.
I'll have a play around later but I see no options to move messages to my memory card.

Whilst still on the subject of messages, does everyone's 'sentbox' folder on the E900 function properly? My sent messages are not being saved and I have no idea why...

Any help would be appreciated!

The reason might be because when you come to send them, you get options as "Send" or "Send and Save" etc and if you just prend send, it wont save them automatically

i rang 02 yesterday about upgrading my fone to the e900. was told to call back on friday as thats when they are getting them back in stock. :(

Could someone with this phone please take a pic of the screen, i'm particularly interested in seeing the size of the text messaging print as I have very bad eyesight and find picking a new phone very difficult because of this. I'm due an upgrade from o2 in the next weeks and this looks brilliant.

Thanks

Matt

With the costs of the latest phone these days it is normally the more cost-effective option to just get a normal 12-month contract. With a normal decent contract of, say, £25, for the initial outlay of an extra £50 you get all those minutes & texts.

If you go for those "x months free line rental" then its cheaper than SIM free :p

Where is the best place to go to buy an original Phone charger for this phone? Best to have one at work so I dont have any low battery appear like im having now :(

now that a few more people have the phone i'll ask my question again...

On the old d500 when u slide the phone shut it displays the time, at the moment when i do this on the e900 the screen is completly blank, just looks like it is turned off, is there an option anywhere to turn this on?
