Samsung Galaxy S24 Family Thread

Yep, it's absolutely shocking .

It will never be fixed until they change the 200mp main camera, was running mine side by side with the Pixel 9 Pro XL I picked up from eBay .

Ended up selling the s24 ultra
It really is a mediocre cam. 200MP sums up Samsung. Quantity over quality.

I have the regular S24 50MP sensor it's also meh. The way it over saturates colours and botches textures is disappointing. Not tested moving objects properly yet.

Neither are a patch on Pixel cams.

I absolutely love my S24U apart from one thing, that bothered me even before I got it but thought would give it a try. Charging speed!

As a very heavy user (10-13hrs SOT per day) I find myself having to charge it 2 or 3 times a day, and it's just so slow.

I can't believe Samsung are sticking to their sucky 45w speed in the S25U as well, will have to seriously reconsider getting it, might have to go back to a fast charging phone as it makes a big difference.

What is it that you do that you need to charge so often? These days I charge mine to 80% only to extend battery life and that lasts me almost 2 days. To charge to 80% using my old 25w Samsung charger takes like half an hour or something. Seems super fast to me.

It is always that last 20% going from 80 to 100% that takes ages. It does not impact me as I can't go above 80 anyway as I set it that way.

I have to agree with TNA, I don't have any issues with my phone lasting a full day. I'd have to be watching movies at full brightness and playing games for a good chunk of the day to get anywhere close to draining it to flat.

Agree on charging speed as well, the 45w seems more than ample.

Haha it's because I use it for a side income thing on top of normal stuff, more than worth it for the time, but that's besides the point.

As you say OnePlus etc only continue to increase charging speeds on their phones, wish Samsung would stop being scared of batteries blowing up and increase theirs too.

6000mAh battery too. 100W charger and in the box... All the specs are absolute top banana.

Must be old age, but more leaks I see for new S25U, less excited I get about moving on from my S23U.

Same charging speeds, very little in camera hardware upgrades (again), battery size and just seem more interested in adopting iPhone chassis than stick to their own design language.

Also leaked they staying on 5000mah ,I think the ones that say charging speed is good enough haven't experienced the faster speeds , you'll notice when you go back

Stopped buying few years ago and haven't looked back imo they just offer less and less each release
