Samsung Galaxy S24 Family Thread

I sometimes use it as a webcam/conference cam etc which benefits vertical use.

Either way I do not like bits sticking out breaking a flush surface and am glad not to have to tolerate it any longer. Most days I left teh stylust in teh draw anyway and just used it with no stylus installed.

Plus the epic cashback :p

Got mine for £355 after all the cashback and selling the stuff that came with it. Could sell it at joicy profit. But don't see the point as happy with it and want to keep it long term. Can't be asked switching phones often anymore.

Anyone else had that happen to their S24 Ultra?

It happened to my S22 Ultra after 9 months. It was a right mess. Very disappointed with Samsung.

I put a Samsung Screen protector on my S24 Ultra although I hate screen protectors the oleophobic coating Samsung puts on must be wafer thin.

For a device this expensive the coating should last atleast 5 years

All my Ultras from the S9 until the 24 have not exhibited any issues with the coating. My partner has my old 22 and my son the 20. All still look new pretty much. I do as they do, use a case. Me and my son have the view case from Samsung, my partner has a faux leather case as she always is dropping them. She killed the S7 after two weeks when she dropped it into the empty bath and didn't tell me for a couple of weeks.

I think if you own something nice which is expensive, it is best to look after it properly.
