Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Honeycomb Tablet

Everything i said is true. So unsurprisingly you have no comeback. If Apple fanboys dont want to hear it it's not my problem.

As someone else said, I'm not feeding the troll. If you're not a troll, you're incredibly clueless and appear to be a bit simple. :)

What i said about Steve Jobs is true. Everything mentioned about Apple is true. It can all be backed up by multiple sources. So who's clueless?

I don't care about where Steve Jobs parks his car...

Everything else was just generic Apple-hate bile, it annoys me because it's mostly born of two things, cluelessness and jealousy. Both displayed by yourself.

Anyway, if you want to preach nonsense, make a new thread for it and if you're lucky enough, I'll educate you in there.

Is the usb adaptor thing mentioned a few pages back actually available yet? Cannot even find mention of it anywhere.
Want to get one for using a card reader.

Andrew

It's just made an appearance in the US (You might find one on the bay). We'll have to wait a little longer to get one here.

Just spoke to my online retailer and they didnt ship my tablet yesterday but thought it should ship in the next day or two.

Phoned a high street electrical retailer in the same trading group as my online place(as their website said "due for release on the 11th" for the model I was after) and he was well aware of the ban. He stated that no further purchases can be made, including online and I would soon be receiving an email refunding me.

Theres a few left on the bay if you are quick! I just bought one!

so what happens if samsung cant overturn the ruling? is that the end of the line? will they have to go and remake it? or keep selling and compensate apple? how does this thing work

They will overturn the ruling, if it is allowed to stand it presents the industry with an extremely worrying situation.

I've seen the court updates of the things Apple are arguing are 'patent infringements' and there is no way they will hold up. I'll be shocked if they do.

Who Did you speak to the Purple Shirts ?
Has any UK Online retailer that is currently selling the 10.1 has pulled it from there websites ?

In a statement issued by Samsung following the ruling, the South Korean company said:

"Samsung is disappointed with the court's decision and we intend to act immediately to defend our intellectual property rights through the ongoing legal proceedings in Germany and will continue to actively defend these rights throughout the world. We will take all necessary measures to ensure Samsung's innovative mobile communications devices are available to customers in Europe and around the world. This decision by the court in Germany in no way influences other legal proceedings filed with the courts in Europe and elsewhere."

I've spoken to the Ruby Murray group and they have told me they are still selling it until told otherwise.

I thought the ruling in Germany was only applicable to Germany and not the UK.

Who Did you speak to the Purple Shirts ?

My online order was with Mr Richard Sons. But phoned Ruby Murray at the Mall in Bristol and they have removed them from sale.

But Mr Richard Sons, Ruby And the Purple lot are all part of the same trading group arent they? So if the notice has made it to one store to remove them from sale, Head Office must have told the lot of them

How can you patent a shape which happens to be black or white?

I have no time for Apple, manage to get myself banned from their shop in Bath all because I told a young lass a Android phone was better buy.

Is theirs a reason the didn't use their OLED screen in these or ya think that's just a cost thing?

Would love to have seen a similar SGSII quality screen on this kinda size.

Was it a 'genius' or a customer?

Chances are the iPhone would have been a better buy for them if it was a young lass.

If I stood in an Android shop (if they existed :p) and was telling people why the iPhone was better I'd expect to be banned as well!

It's certainly a cost and manufacturing thing.
