Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Honeycomb Tablet

Samsung kies is absolutely terrible, doesn't recognise my usb connection but will work fine wireless.
I've put it back to stock and unrooted to 3.1 but still no update to 3.2 yet, think I might just start using custom roms but I don't like the idea of constantly having to update manually myself, especially since I keep all my uni work on the tab.

Still using onlive and enjoying it.
 
Anyone having email sync issues since 3.2? I use the default email app to view my uni emails which use Windows live servers. I. Have imap setup correctly and it downloads the folders I have on my account, but will not sync a single email :s

Sync works fine on my phone. On the tab I cleared the email app data, and still no joy.

Any ideas?

I use Gmail and have my main email account sync through Gmail ....not had any problems.
 
Yea i have gmail also, which works fine, just the samsung email app that is giving problems, few people having the same problem since the 3.2 update, ill try an alternative email client for my uni emails and see how i get on.

But just link your uni email account to your gmail account and it will send your uni email through the gmail account, to add a POP3 email account to gmail, using a computer log into Gmail and go to settings Accounts and Import and Add a POP3 mail account you own ... jobs a good un.
 
So I have borrowed one of these and I'm not all that impressed with the screen, especially the viewing angles. My sg2 seems sharper although it now feels tiny :-)

The screen is Super PLS and you must also take into consideration screen resolution and size so it’s not really comparing like with like when comparing viewing angle to such a small screen. There will always be reflections and it’s not really an issue as you’re not going to look at it from extreme angles.

That's true. I really like honeycomb so far but i can't work out why the screencapture button is so easy to press, my gallery is full of screenshots :D
 
I've just installed [GT-P7500] CM9 KANG (ICS Preview) and wow its a huge improvement over the standard honeycomb.

I've had a galaxy nexus since they first came out and really liked ICS and have been watching the development over at xda with interest but as I've got a 3g tab there weren't many ICS roms around but this one is great with every thing working apart from the camera.

Can't wait for the official release to arrive.
