Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Honeycomb Tablet

I'd just like to clarify something. If I was to buy the USB adaptor for the Tab, and connect my phone using the USB cable, would the Tab charge my phone? Or does the adaptor just allow the transfer of data?

I just tried it for you and it does nothing... it gives me an error on the tablet saying a high power device has been connected and it cannot mount it.

ICS for GALAXY Note, GALAXY S II LTE, GALAXY R, GALAXY Tab 7.0 Plus, 7.7, 8.9, 8.9 LTE and 10.1 will follow soon.

In addition, we'll also offer Android 2.3 Gingerbread firmware upgrades for GALAXY S, GALAXY Tab 7", GALAXY S Plus, GALAXY S SCL (Super Clear LCD) and GALAXY W from end March. The firmware upgrades for GALAXY S, for example, include Face Unlock, Snapshot, Photo Editor, and others.

The availability and scheduling of the software update and specific models upgradeable to Android 4.0 will vary by market and wireless carriers' requirements.

It could be a short wait or a long one. Just hope it's the former. :)
 
So it would seem but what is annoying with the Wifi only tabs, there is NO carrier to check with so just release it already, I don't have 3G on mine so I don't care about the bickering the networks and samsung might have

So I finally got bored with having pure 3.1 on my I/O Tab and decided to get a full blown Samsung rom. So from January stock Wi-Fi UK (European) 3.2 rom with TouchWiz UX.

The extras/changes are good and so is the pop up selection from the centre of the task bar. It is now a complete package (well for me it is). Now to look forward to ICS whenever that turns up. :)
 
Quick question, when my tab is vertical viewing websites such as Ocuk forums, when I quick scroll down it looks fine but when I hold the tab horizontal and fast scroll down the forums they look like they load in as it's going, even when the site is fully loaded.

It's starting to do my nut in because it looks awful. Anyone else have this problem?
 
Got bored of waiting for ICS on my tab 8.9 and so rooted and flashed a kernel which allows overclocking.

Running it at 1.4ghz using 1150mV.

Pretty snappy now, but still really needs the smoothness and stability of ICS.
