Indeed but whether one wants to go with a custom rom on a new OS on the latest hardware is another question.

I think I know why. Honeycomb works best at a resolution of 1280*800+.

But this tablet will have something lower and hence the need for a "mini apps tray" for multitasking, plus a few other tweaks to the UI.

8.9" display, 1280x800 resolution, 8.6mm and 470 grams is all very good news. Now Samsung just don't make it look like a pig.

If it's cheaper then iPAD2 (Sub £400 inc 3G/GPS) and can be rooted etc, I may just go for this (Assuming microSD or similar)

The business side looks good.
