VCCIO i think i can probably lower but im leaving it at 1.1 for now as im sure the little extra voltage won't hurt. Test failed with PLL at 1.8 or lower.
Any suggestions for what to do next 8pack? I think if i lower timings PLL might have to be increase more. CPU is at 4.5ghz for the moment.
not gonna be much help to you i'm afraid as i'm not on sammy's, mines running 10-12-11-31 1T @2.4
just posted pic so you have a gauge, i should imagine once you have them sorted, 7m 30s as a rough guide for yours
Does cpu speed make a difference? I'm only at 4.5ghz. Ah so you're at 2400mhz? That would explain your quicker times. I will post back with a result shortly.
RAM running at 2133mhz @ 9-10-10-21-1T 88 TRFC. Can't go higher on my Z68
Never have tried tweaking PLL on my chip. This would pass Super Pi fine @ 1.63v vDimm but needed a bump to 1.65v to pass memtest (test 5 was usually the hardest to pass)
Maybe its because i have 16gb and all ram slots full Pauly that need higher PLL. 8Pack even suggested starting off with 1.9 which surprised me. But hes right. At 2133 with more relaxed timings i could keep PLL at 1.825 but running at 10-11-11-21-1T i need 1.9.
Do you think its worth me going any further? I don't want to mess about with BLK as it limits my GPU overclock at 1300 core +.
I could try to lower the timings more maybe, any suggestions? Is 10-10-10 a realistic possibility? Also there are a load of other memory timings in bios all on auto. Should i leave them like that?
Thanks. I'm quite happy to stick now with where im at, but if i can get a bit more from the timings im happy to keep going. Really don't want to exceed safe maximum values on voltage though as im currently setting up my 24/7 speed. Once this is all set i will move up to my benchmark settings which will see the cpu at 5.0ghz minimum.
