Samsung Green Ram

I guess ill leave the other timings at Auto 8pack unless you think its worth me doing?

Ok so im fully stable at 4.5ghz 2133 10-11-11-21-1T.

I'm almost fully stable now at 5.0ghz 2133 10-11-11-21-1T.

What has surprised me is that i had to to bump memory voltage up to 1.65 to get stable. I'm working on lowering voltages now trying to find the sweet spot.

How's this 8pack?

Beating out wazza and Nick in super pi speeds anyway.

@8Pack

Any chance of you trying 8gb sammys in a gigabyte UP4 to see if 2400mhz is possible?

Need to clock my new pair of sammy green, and given the huge catalogue of settings, my brain balks a bit, but have managed 2133 stable on a previous set.

I am overclock profiling on the UD4 next week so I will give it a go yes. I am sure its possible with tuning. Giga have matured with Bios when clocking this RAM.

Matt, my fans finally arrived this morning so I *might* be getting around to putting my sammy green in later and having a go overclocking.

My mobo is the MSI Z68A-GD80 (B3), will be interesting to see how I get on.

It took a fair bit of work and tweaking Mike to get mine stable. I'm still tweaking and working on them now. You bought 8gb yeah? That should be a bit easier to get right.

The voltages you need to play with our DRAM, VCCIO, PLL. You should be able to get the same timings at me at least. I run 32mb super pi runs to test stability. If i fail or get an error i bump voltage two notches then rinse and repeat.

Matt, yes I got 8GB, why did you get 16GB?

Managed to clean out my system fit the new ram and fans.

Had a quick go with this, never OC'd ram before.

looks good guys, though I never found I had to touch pll, only used one click more vccio from stock 1.05v on z68

on z77 didn't have to touch vccio

Each IMC is different but Wazza you are correct for me too I dont need over 1.05 on about twenty chips at 2133mhz @ 7-10-7-24 1T 74 Trfc.

Urgh, yeah my ram is not stable. I thought it was, but its not.

I've even tried going really high with voltage and still it doesn't pass prime 95 blend custom 4096 > 4096 using 6gb ram.

2133 - 10-11-11-21-1T
PLL 1.9
DRAM 1.65
VCCIO 1.20

I'm out of idea's now.
