Samsung LS34E790C - Curved 34" 21:9 super-wide

See my first post on this thread. I kind of suspected that was coming. I know Samsung well enough. :p

This is truely crap. How do we explain 'christmas' is delayed?

Would have thought someone might be able to indicate the delay to us, given the product never left the factory...days ago.
 
The reason to pre-order it for me was the delivery before Christmas. I just asked to cancel the order because waiting is not really an option for me, i'm on my old backup monitor.

This is a huge disappoint and massive let down.

As such anyone who pre-ordered the Samsung we are willing to change your order to the LG UC97 for no charge, so £200 of the LG so you get a curved monitor before Christmas.

If you want to do this call our sales or post in CS and show them my reply here that we are happy to do same price (£799) on the UC97 from LG if it helps. :)
 
Any more news on this? The ETA is still showing as 16/01/15 but I notice that another well known reseller is showing 07/01/15. I assume that you will both get stock pretty much on the same day?

Also I've noticed on my card statement that OC took the full £799 back at the beginning of December when I pre-ordered it. Is this normal? I thought payment was only supposed to be taken when the goods were actually despatched?

Yeah but have you seen the price they are wanting?.....i'm willing to wait another 9 days to save nearly £200. :D

I have also pre-ordered this from ocuk after having X2 LG 34UM-95 panels with shocking bleed. :mad:
